Tennessee's best movie is "Nashville"?! Does nobody realize that the vast majority of Grisham's work occurs in Memphis? How about "The Firm"?
Sorry, but I'm of the opinion that when it comes to movies, there are no timless classics. Eventually every movie becomes so out dated that to consider it part of modern society is stagnant thinking. A 1975 movie I've never heard of qualifies as stagnant in my opinion.
Blue Crush? You gotta be fist-fuckin' me. There were Hawaii 5-O episodes better than that shitfest.

The best movie in Hawaii is Bones Brigade 3: The Search for Animal Chin. I can't tell you how many times I rended tht movie in the 80's. Granted, only the first part took place in Hawaii, but where else can you see a sixteen year old Tony Hawk sing at a campfire?
