Once Upon a Time in Mexico

A sequel to.... crap, I forget the name, but it had a Salma Hayak sex scene in it.

A movie set in Mexico about small guys taking on the big guys. Has Antonio Bandarras as "El Mariachi" and Johnny Depp playing Johnny Depp as a CIA agent. Not a typo, there.

Has some interesting imagery and Depp's quirks are always fun to watch, but overall a downer as a movie. Mixed scenes of Bandarras's overly depressing past are sprinkled throughout, which for me really dragged the movie into "bummer" territory.

See it or don't. I had fun translating all the Spanish conversations.

I remember this coming on HBO and me falling asleep to it... must have not been to good.

First one was the best, though no naked Salma in that one sadly.

El Mariachi and Desperado were more like different versions of each other. El Mariachi was the first of three movies he was planning to make, but got the contract, so made Desperado and Once Upon a Time.

El Mariachi was the best by far. Splice in some naked Salma, and it'd be one of the best movies ever.
