Guess Who
Bernie Mac, Ashton Koosher, and others. Wife really likes Bernie and Ashton (but I don't think I'm supposed to share that with anyone), so I took her to see this one. She really liked it, and I enjoyed it too. There was one part in particular that bugged me cause it was an issue that was blown WAY out of proportion and that fact was ALMOST addressed in the movie. But wasn't. But, this was by no means a movie wrecker or anything like that. Plenty of funny stuff as one would expect from Ashton and Bernie. Not 'to tears' kind of funny, but, funny none the less. The touchy feely chick stuff wasn't too bad either. However, I did feel like I'd seen the plot before. But, no big deal. I enjoyed the movie, and don't think it was a waste of a movie ticket. However, I would have enjoyed it just as much as a rental. So, if there's nothing better at the theater that you really want to see, don't be afraid to lay down the cash on this one. But at the same time, don't kick youself if you miss it at the theater and have to rent it to see it.
However, I did feel like I'd seen the plot before.

It was more along the lines of:
Father hates boyfriend.
Boyfriend wants to impress father.
Both end up in a heap of trouble.
They have to bond together to work through it.
Father now likes boyfriend because he basically saved his ass.
