Star Trek XI

As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

It will be interesting to see how this film does. Personally, I'm not sure it'll work.

They'll have no established characters, which means a lot of the film will be wasting introducing them to the audience.

Ditto with the setting of the film. Nobody is going to know anything about the technology and such, so it'll have to be introduced.

On top of that, as we've seen with Enterprise, I just don't think people want to see movies or shows set in Trek's past.

The war theme is a great idea, but it needs to be set after the last Trek film, not 150 years before Kirk.

Also, they need to take at least a 5 year break before releasing something new. The Trek franchise is too watered down. Give people a chance to catch their breath.
