I'm confused on this one. I read it twice and missed the part where NPR took a side. And then got "Pwn3d"

Maybe I read it wrong.

It's not the article, it's the poll. Nearly 1.5 million votes (86%) in favor of FOX news, and on NPR of all places. NPR being notoriously liberal, you see (although, admittedly, not completely so).

Really? I love NPR because they stay pretty unbiased in it all.

I'm trying to think of some NPR stories i've heard this week that were biased and weren't just "people doing legitimate story based journalism, and not just news flipping and hyping."

I'm looking at you CNN/Fox news, with balloon boy, Larry David Peeing on Jesus, etc.

Usually it's interesting international stories, economy stuff, or like yesterday stories about how the races were turning out in the various states. In Atlanta it was all about the mayor runoff.

If you ask a bunch of far-left wingers, they will say CNN/MSNBC is centrist, and Fox is extreme right wing.

Which planet do you get your NPR broadcast from?

NPR clearly has a hard-on for National Socialist Health Care Reform. You can't listen to them for more than about 5 minutes without some story about how important health care reform is.

Really? Because the only time I heard a story on it this week was yesterday, I think.

It was a brief story on the updates of what happened in the committees that day, followed by a commentator for, and then against.

Both made good points, and she even asked a good followup to the against guy that helped his point out quite a bit.

But dude, everyone but Fox news is totally leftist/socialist, you guys are so right.

NPR News is actually pretty middle of the road, with a slight lean to the left.

The problem is that the afternoon drivetime is pretty much filled with their opinion shows, which are as far left as Fox opinion shows are right.

Ya, the actual news, is pretty much neutral. It's what's happening. But the people doing the shows are far left. It's annoying to hear them talk about left stuff like it's the only thing that makes sense.

When you are leaning one way or the other, you don't notice when other people are too. In other words, you lean mostly left, Troy. So, when they talk about left stuff being the only thing that makes sense, you agree with them. So, it all sounds pretty reasonable and you don't notice the left leaning stuff. Because, it just makes sense to you. But, I disagree with a lot of it and it annoys me when they pretty much say I'm stupid for not agreeing.

I was kinda happy when they did a take on my <s>famous</s> 2007 essay about healthcare and groceries.

Basically, they did a spot about how you never know the price of any healthcare that you consume.
