Because Obama said Fox wan't really news! So we're #1!

This is just weird.

In case they change it:
MSNBC#1 in cable news!

With Fox News exposed as a political advocacy organization and not a news channel, that leaves msnbc as the #1 most watched news channel on cable.

And the video goes on to actually say Obama "did all of the heavy lifting" in denouncing Fox News as... not news.

Did you watch the associated video? It's a joke.

To me it read as "this is a joke but not really because it's also true, but no it's a joke (not really)."

I watched the video, but I didn't pick up on the sarcasm, if present.

The asterisked 'undisputed' with "it's actually heavily disputed" with it's meaning didn't tip you off?

Plus him saying that it was a tag line (or whatever) that you won't be hearing very much.

I saw lots of sarcasm and them laughing at themselves. Yes, it was also a chance to throw out that Fox ain't news. . . but I saw it as mostly a joke overall.

I'd like confirmation on these numbers ... but interesting, nonetheless.
CNN is even feeling the slump on nights when it is expected to dominate. On Tuesday, it placed fourth with its election coverage, attracting just 826,000 viewers in prime time. Fox News had more than 4 million, while MSNBC drew 974,000 and HLN (which didn't cover the election) had 842,000.
