The Last Horror Movie

As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

I have a hunch that the fewer details I give about this film, the better your viewing experience may be. Thus, I would advise you to avoid looking it up on the web, avoid reading any other review, and even avoid reading the box cover.

I was lucky and had never heard of the film, but rented it because I was in the mood for a slasher. I didn't even read the box.

If you're not a fan of horror, this film is NOT for you. Also, you're going to need to turn your brain off for a bit since the main character acts NOTHING like his real life counterparts, and there are hoardes of holes in the logic behind the film.

Still, its an interesting concept that's never really been done before. Things have been close, but not really like this.

I'm not saying this film is awesome or well done. In fact, I'll probably rate it 5 out of 10. All I'm saying is that true horror fans may get a kick out of it.

I've got a ton of complaints about it, including: cheap production, lapses in logic, unrealistic actions, it drags a bit towards the end, the end is a cheap scare tactic, etc,

Still its a gimmick film that may appeal to some of you. So again, if you're a horror fan, give it a try. If not, avoid it as you'll hate it.

5 out of 10. A gimmick film that isn't well made, but is still interesting to its core audience.

(If you're not a horror fan, that rating is 1 out of 10.)
