Sometimes I miss the days when throwing around words like "coward" and "liar" actually meant something, and could get you killed.
EDIT: And I don't understand the "we didn't land on the moon" crowd at all. The technology was sound, the methodology was good, why do they think it's so impossible that we did it? Just because we haven't done it again? That's not hard to understand, we cancelled the program that could do it again and instead built Space Busses that aren't good for much beyond low earth orbit. Because people in the 70s were more concerned about the energy crisis and the environment and getting high than they were with real scientific progress. Goddamn hippies.
Me, I'm just surprised Apollo 10 didn't land. They got within 8 miles and didn't land. It takes a better person than me to get so close and have everything you need to do it and still follow the plan and stop short.
