Still kind of a fucked up way to voice your concern.

I'm one of those people who does not believe in the destruction of wealth to make a point. And, while I do agree with the protestor's point that government is inefficient, I disagree that having people vote would help. Just look at the federal government.

Looks like an NFL quality field. for high school football. Paid for by tax payers. I'd be a pissed-off taxpayer.

And $100k to repair it??? Exactly the point.

Our high schools have million dollar fields as well. I like them. It's WAY more fun watching games on the expensive fields instead of the old shit grass fields.

Also, I play lacrosse, and I like playing on those fields more than grass. WAY more. It's one of the few things that my tax dollars go towards that I like.

And yes, they are NFL quality. Our three high schools have the same field that was installed in Ford Field. They are awesome.

It's an effective protest only if it doesn't somehow cost citizens another $100K.

Yeah my reason for not liking this is because I played four years of Varisty soccer, and some of the shit hole stadiums we played in had the worst fields ever.

It was always a pleasure to play on a nice field, artificial or not.

If he had burned down the cafeteria or something, I would have been all.. meh.

Exactly. One field in particular, after it rained, was a mud pit. Especially at the goals. The ball would litterally get stuck in the mud and the ref had to come dig it out because the goalie is not aloud to use his hands to pick up the ball (lacrosse). Now the ball's covered in mud, etc.

I always felt bad for the schools/kids that had to use the old grass fields.

Bah. If you don't come back from a game bleeding, you probably played like a pussy.
