Jack Kemp would still be alive if the federal government had done a better job funding cancer research, Sen. Arlen Specter said Sunday, one day after Kemp, the 1996 Republican vice presidential nominee, died of cancer.

He's using a fresh corpse to jockey for political position? Wow. I guess at least he's got the initiative to do so.

That really didn't play well when Edwards tried it with Christopher Reeves. Oh well. He's the other party's problem now.
