I think even those that never played D&D, but have ever enjoyed an MMO need to be made aware that without Gary, their on-line entertainment would probably be a lot different.

On a lighter note, they interviewed him and had it as an extra on the last D&D moive DVD. And yes, he's just as big a nerd as you'd have expected.

To this day, I still have a picture perfect memory of the final battle in the first D&D game I played. Flawless ending, flawless roll.
