Considering he's your age, I think he understands.

80s music was pretty unique and is definitely better than the shit churned out today. There was something for everyone in that decade.

There are songs being made today that would've fit into that era well, but they're usually overlooked in favor of remixed dance club horseshit.

The more I think about it, there's still music for everyone, even today. You just gotta fucking dig like a backhoe on crystal meth to find some of it.

Understood. Interpretation of the aesthetic value music is indeed time-sensitive, so to speak.

Wasn't it Chris Rock that pointed out that the music you tend to remember most fondly is the music that was out right around the time you started getting laid?
