That would make the SEC and ACC jokes too based on common opponents.

Indiana might be legit. Thing is, they don't play OSU and neither does Oregon. So, if they hang on to win here, I guess we'll see if they're legit in the playoffs?

Does PSU fire James Franklin?

PSU fires Franklin.

Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

Franklin is owed more than $49 million, per his contract.

The former AD at PSU signed Franklin to a 10yr $85M contract. Easily one of the worst contracts in CFB.

I watched the end of UCLA's big upset (PSU, right?) and the cameras kept switching to Jerry N, and I was like "Is he the new coach?"
All the press is about Jerry. I've heard nothing about Skipper.

Me either and I follow all sorts of B1G media.

Also, maybe we should settle down the hype train. They've beaten PSU who Northwestern beat in Happy Valley and a really bad Michigan State.

Their final stretch is Maryland, (3)Indiana, (25)Nebraska, (1)OSU, (Would be ranked at 5-1 if they were an SEC team)Washington, and (20)USC.

Let's see what they do in those games.

USC and TTUN pushing back on B1G capital deal.

I believe I agree with them.

It's a band-aid that solves no problems, and looming legislation make jumping into this short sighted.

Yeah, but considering the first 3 games, it's still a miracle.

Right? The cat is out of the bag. The whole system needs to be changed immediately, which probably includes salary caps.

That I find hilarious because we'll be right back to schools paying players illegally to win.

Time to ask for an anti-trust exemption from congress! Actually, the NCAA may already have one, unsure. Google says they do not, but legislation is pending.

That's a horrendous beat, but who beats on those teams?

Also, the gas station being RIGHT THERE is absolutely hilarious. FYI, there's no gas station anywhere near The Glass Bowl.

An addict.

There's a marathon 1/2 a mile away. Closer than most of those Southland programs.

I know where that is and it's not visible from the Glass Bowl, even if it had an open end facing that direction. The Glass Bowl is right in the middle of campus.

BGSU's stadium is right on the expressway and both ends are open so you can see the gas stations and traffic in the distance.

Now I'm wondering if Southland is full of shit.

Indiana has reached a new eight-year contract with Curt Cignetti that will make him one of the highest-paid football coaches in the FBS with an annual average salary of about $11.6 million, the university announced Thursday.

Cignetti guided the Hoosiers to a 10-2 record and a surprising College Football Playoff appearance in his first season at the school in 2024. This season, the No. 3 Hoosiers are 6-0 heading into Saturday's game against Michigan State.

In a video posted to Indiana's social media accounts, Cignetti said, "I couldn't be more proud to be a Hoosier, and I plan on retiring as a Hoosier. The way that this state has embraced us and our success in football has meant more to me than anything else."
...
Under his previous deal, Cignetti's buyout was set to drop to $10 million on Dec. 1, a number that now climbs to $15 million under the new contract, sources tell ESPN's Pete Thamel.

If Indiana fires Cignetti without cause during his new deal, his $93.25 million becomes fully guaranteed, sources tell Adam Rittenberg.
Well, no one's hiring him away.

Cignetti just looks like a scumbag.

Also, PSU looks like Rhule's job to lose.
