Peter Weller is voicing it.

It won't be complete unless there's something I'd buy for a dollar.

Robocop: Rogue City

Got this for $5 in the latest Steam sale and beat it in a few days. It's not long.

You're Robocop, duh. This picks up after the first movie...I think. I don't remember the other ones well enough to know if there's anything here from them. The plot has OCP again being a greedy and evil corporation. This time its CEO is in ill health and there's a mayoral race going on. OCP has a guy in the Detroit PD, which OCP still funds, and he's a dick. Detroit has lots of gang problems and Robocop has to deal with that, all while a mysterious new guy (trust me, that's funny) takes over the seedy underworld. How is this all related to OCP?

There's lots of dialogue choices throughout that supposedly will give you various endings for characters. I say supposedly because I'm pretty sure I did everything right, even checked guides after completion, and two of the character's endings were not great.

The gun fighting is pretty good. Being an FPS, that's really the biggest thing. Your main weapon is Robocop's signature gun and it can be upgraded by finding OCP circuit boards and then using these chips you find in OCP chests to activate them. By the end of the game, I had the best circuit board and my gun was ridiculous. It makes you feel like a walking cyborg. Actually, it probably made me feel more like the T-1000 than Robocop, but it worked.

Robocop's movements are my biggest complaints. No crouching and he's slow. Thus, the very first time you face exactly who you think you'll face if you've seen the movies, I simply stayed behind an indestructible wooden box and won the fight using just it for cover. Later similar fights, you'll be far more armored up and can deal more damage to make the fight shorter.

There's an FPS element where you earn XP just doing stuff and can apply it to skills, like Armor, Damage, Vitality, etc. I recommend maxing the category that gives you additional XP. Once I did that, I flew up levels.

A weird moment happens, literally, during the last moments before the end game where the game teaches you that you have night vision. Hint: hit V. It was like the devs remembered that late in the game and just decided that since they coded it, they might as well tell the players about it.

The maps themselves, particularly the one block of Detroit that most of the game takes place in, are really small.

Overall, it was fun. I feel like I got my $5 worth. However, it oddly feels like an FPS that was made 15 years ago, but with graphics from the last 5 years.
