Serious question: Val looked the way he did when he passed, but Cruise still looks 28. Better plastic surgeons or should we all be looking into Scientology?

Perhaps scientology because they have the best surgeons?

Cruise, Pitt, etc get lots of help, and Val didn't try.

Dammit. I was ready to go buy a copy of Dianetics!
Wasn't that what it was called? I still remember those late night commercials.

Brian Wilson
I never really appreciated him growing up. I knew a few of the Beach Boys' hits, but it wasn't until college that I really appreciated what he was doing in the 60s
I never really appreciated him growing up. I knew a few of the Beach Boys' hits, but it wasn't until college that I really appreciated what he was doing in the 60s
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brian_WilsonIn 1961, he began his professional career as a member of the Beach Boys, serving as the band's songwriter, producer, co-lead vocalist, bassist, keyboardist, and de facto leader. After signing with Capitol Records in 1962, he became the first pop musician credited for writing, arranging, producing, and performing his own material. He also produced acts such as the Honeys and American Spring. By the mid-1960s he had written or co-written more than two dozen U.S. Top 40 hits, including the number-ones "Surf City" (1963), "I Get Around" (1964), "Help Me, Rhonda" (1965), and "Good Vibrations" (1966). He is considered among the first music producer auteurs and the first rock producers to apply the studio as an instrument.
In 1964, Wilson had a nervous breakdown and resigned from regular concert touring to focus on songwriting and production. This led to works such as the Beach Boys' Pet Sounds

Big name in industrial music. Finally saw Nitzer Ebb in 2024, unfortunately Douglas was already too ill to be on tour then.

Alf Clausen; Simpsons' composer
“Marge vs. the Monorail,” a classic episode of “The Simpsons,” was written by Conan O’Brien, just before he made the jump to his late-night talk show, but the “Music Man”-inspired song was penned by Alf Clausen, the composer for the bulk of the series. His work was central to the animated show’s DNA.
For 27 seasons, when “The Simpsons” needed a melody—for a musical based on ”The Planet of the Apes,” for U2 to sing along to “The Garbage Man” or for Apu to ask “who needs the Kwik-E-Mart?”—Clausen wrote it, recorded it with a 35-piece orchestra, then did it all again the next week.
