Logical, but aren't they just confirming that people who make bad decisions also make bad decisions?

Yes, but the question was: If people make good decisions, but also smoke pot, do they then make poor decisions? And the answer appears to be no. It's just that many people who have shitty lives smoke pot, thus an apparent correlation between pot + poor decisions.
It's not me, it's someone else.

Fair, and thanks for that clarification.

Alcohol usage is dropping significantly.
Hopefully this doesn't mean Malcolm died.
Blame pot and the next generation not being lured to alcohol for whatever reason. They do love their vapes though...
Overheard the beer girl two nights ago say she was taking a gummy as soon as she gets home. Pretty common. Pot stores around here are constantly packed. Being legal and having competition has also dropped their prices significantly.
Honestly, the kids are missing out. The best thing about alcohol was the ability to control your intake. I don't miss the hangovers though.

I'd argue the pot environment is much better for control than it used to be. Gummies/vaping, you can choose exactly what you want to get. Although, my experience is that the gummies, while they say they are reliable, certainly are not reliable in my stomach. I'll eat a 10... nothing. I'll eat a 10, high as hell. I'll eat a 10... nice mellow high.
Same batch of gummies.

IF I were to use anything, it would be a gummy. Interesting about the variances, but it makes sense. I assume they make them in batches, and like any other ingredient, it's impossible to control distribution.
LIke a batch of choc chip cookies where one has 12 chips and another has 24.

Yeah, but the THC should be more like flour or sugar, easier to distribute across the whole candy, imho. It's not discrete like a chocolate chip. But apparently not.Leisher wrote: ↑Fri Jun 13, 2025 4:19 pm IF I were to use anything, it would be a gummy. Interesting about the variances, but it makes sense. I'll take your word for it. I was more booze than any drugs, and I've certainly never made pot brownies or anything.
My wife gets gummies though.

Interesting. I genuinely don't hear anyone talking about coke these days, and I think most of my peers are in the prime age groups and income bracket.
I wonder how this graph would look alongside one showing when weed was legalized. I'm not suggesting people who use pot go to coke, but I do wonder if there is some aspect of the illegality of coke that has made it more appealing to some as weed gets legalized?

I have friends who do coke, mostly because it leaves the body faster than other drugs, apparently? They all work somewhere with drug testing.

I avoid anything that has a potential of killing me...except crazy women. They're swell.
