I still say "Juuuust a bit outside" when something misses by a mile.

Probably same video as above, but not postage stamp tiny.
It's not me, it's someone else.

Michelle Trachtenberg
Yeah, I know this got posted elsewhere, but she deserved better than to just be used as a punchline.
Gorgeous woman. Very good actress. She will be missed.

She's been on my Top 10 list for about 20 years.
Well, she was.
I walked by her apartment in NYC last year. If I'd have known she was in trouble, I would have stopped in and saved her.

Hackman is an absolute legend.
99% of the actors to ever do it couldn't come close to his talent.

George was a complicated man. He had sledgehammers for hands and was a great fighter, but corrupted by the lifestyle. Not terribly, but it definitely cost him against Ali. All of his anger and arrogance left in the past, George became an ambassador for the sport in his later years with his very friendly demeanor and charismatic smile. He was constantly called a gentle giant and I don't ever remember seeing him not smiling.
Definitely an egomaniac having named 5 of his kids George and one daughter Georgetta. The other 6 have different names.
Later, he got the grill deal thanks to Hulk Hogan passing on it.
He also had a great career comeback when Tyson was on top of the boxing world. Rumor had it that Tyson's handlers ducked a Foreman fight as George's style was made to destroy a fighter like Mike. George could take punishment and dish it out. There's a picture out there somewhere of him clubbing another fighter in the face, and it's one that really resonated with me. He, literally, used his hand as a club and the way it rearranged the other guy's face was shocking. Said a lot about his power, but also oddly about the resiliency of the human body.
The man became the oldest heavyweight champion of all time and that record still stands.

I thought Val died right after top gun 2.

Yeah, Top Gun put him on the map, but I was a fan of his due to Top Secret and Real Genius. Both were always in my Tape and DVD libraries.
And if you've never seen Thunderheart, you should. I think it's possibly Kilmer's best acting job, and his "buddy cop" chemistry with Graham Greene is pretty awesome. Fred Ward, Fred Thompson, and Sam Sheppard also star. A powerhouse lineup of great actors.

I liked top secret as well. Top Gun of course. Awesome in Heat and Tombstone. I would list him high on my list of favorite actors.

He was and that came out at a time when I was into The Doors' music.
