The Gorge (2025)

As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

The Gorge (2025)

Post by GORDON »

A couple merc snipers get tasked to guard each side of a mysterious gorge, for the term of a year.

A girl gets sad on her birthday and then strange things happen.

Someone in the late 90s loved the videogame Doom, and then hated the movie called Doom, so they wrote this movie which is a much better Doom movie than is the movie Doom.

It's solid.

I thought the first half was interesting and entertaining.

I thought the second half was absolute dreck.

This film had no idea what it wanted to be. None of the "rules" of the concept made any sense whatsoever. The second half was typical Hollywood cliche nonsense. The monsters were about as threatening as zombies in horror films from the 70s and 80s.

Miles Teller and Anna Taylor Joy (would) are completely wasted in this terrible script.
