Exit 8

Post by Leisher »

There's a new genre out there that has to do with horror and loops. This is one of them.

In Exit 8 you are walking through a subway trying to reach Exit 8. You can walk and run, nothing else. You start at Exit 0, head down the hall and now you're at 1, keep going, and Exit 0 again...WTF?

You missed an anomaly. There's the point of the game. You have to look for anomalies and if you see one, turn around and go the other way or you get warped back to the beginning or die. Sometimes the anomalies are easy to spot, sometimes I think they're a bit too difficult. Just take your time getting to know the sterile hallway and you'll eventually spot things quickly.

The graphics are really good and a few of the anomalies are pretty cool. However, there's an hour, give or take, of gameplay here. If you beat the game quickly, the only replay value is to see the other anomalies and the game does you a favor and lists the number you have left.

If you can get it free or for a $1, give it a run. While it was a cool little experience, it's not worth more than that.
