This is a disturbing trend and it's wild that it doesn't get discussed more often. It's not just women either. Men's sperm count has been dropping. I'm sure it has nothing to do with our food being poison.
I wanted to add more funny to this, but I've been too busy, and honestly, most stuff is political right now.

I still disagree with the shopping cart thing.
Back when I was on reddit, there was some dude there who was advertising his youtube/ticki tockie/whatver channel where he confronted "lazybones" people who didn't return carts.
I told him sometimes people have reasons that aren't visible, and that he would never confront me about it because I was built like a football player, had a permanent scowl of an ex Marine, and that he was a little bitch-ass pussy that only did these things when he was sure to be a bully that wouldn't have anyone kick his ass over it.
He shut the fuck up about it at that point. I like to think he took my words to heart and stopped being a punk-ass bully.
And at this point I don't return carts just hoping it bothers some punk-ass bully who is going to determine I have a dangerous mental illness over something so superficial.

I want to propose to that redhead.
It's not superficial. The carts roll around and damage cars. The cost of those repairs get transferred to all of us and that's one of the (many) reasons insurance keeps going up. The carts get damaged as well meaning fewer carts for the shoppers.
I fully understand that some people have trouble getting around and that can make returning them a problem. I go out of my way to ask people, particularly handicapped and elderly people, if I can return their cart for them. I don't expect folks parking in handicap spots to return their carts.
That all being said, parking lots have cart return corals every 6 spaces now. It's not difficult to find a space right next to one. If a store doesn't have those, it's on the store.
But being really honest, you're not the rule. The shopping cart theory does not discuss those who have legit issues preventing them from getting around easily. Folks like you are exempt.
Caveat: When I say "get around easily" that doesn't mean self created land whales are exempt.
The overwhelming majority of people who don't return carts do so because they're lazy, selfish fucks. They don't care if their cart rolls into your new car and scratches the paint. They don't care about the elderly man who has to walk over ice to get it and slips and breaks his hip doing so. They would never post beautiful nude women for others to enjoy.

JFC, some store I went to only had cart returns 1 per parking lane and only EVERY OTHER AISLE. Like wtf? You're a fucking grocery store. Every parking lane gets a cart return. That time I really did feel like leaving it out.

Wouldn't it be neat if you could actually adjust your car somehow so that you end up close to a cart left in the lot, one of the cart corals, or the store?
Well, it'd probably say something about violently confronting other people because their opinion is different on what is clearly a trigger issue for you.
Or if the parking lot has a slope? Well, I've already established there are exceptions due to handicap and you're exempt, so I'm not really sure why you're still beating a dead horse. You KNOW the world is full of lazy fucks out there who don't return their cart for much different reasons.
