Your government illegally went to social media outlets and demanded they censor opinions and FACTS ahead of the last presidential election. That's all public record. You know what was done about it? The way he cut Twitter staffing to the bone, and it's still doing well, makes me chuckle, evilly.
But in reality, do you think he'd be able to rally make a difference in government spending? Do you think he'd be able to cut so much that we don't have an increase in the budget after he has a full year in the job?
Because I predict he won't even be able to cut .5%. I suspect the systems are too entrenched in law by this point.
Plus, maybe if it was a full time job for him, yeah. But he's already spread thin. I'd be surprised if he'll be able to focus 7 hours a week on this, and that isn't enough for any deep thinking on it. Is he a good delegator? Maybe he could hire his persona accountant Charles Grodin to look at the books.

I'm all for smaller government and cutting waste. I don't think there is a bigger waster of money on the planet than our government. However, I think cuts need to be thought out really well. I don't want to see cuts just to see cuts.
