Anyone else play this?
My kids have me doing it daily. It's driving my middle kid nuts that I get perfects almost daily.
Today's pissed me off though.

I thought today's was easy?
Strands #61
βA shade envious?β

The one you are talking about isn't the one I did this. Morning?
Oh wait, my tired ass confused strands and connection
I used to do connections. I tried to get purple first

Yeah, both my daughter and I try to do that too. Makes it harder.
I've only been doing it a month now and I did successfully pull off a purple, blue, yellow, green, but only once.

I've done it several times, but I started when it started. Sometimes weird what they consider harder though
It's not me, it's someone else.

It's subjective. Yesterday's purple was super easy for me (Movie titles), while everyone else I know struggled with it.
Point being, the puzzle creator might think it's easy or hard, but that doesn't mean it will be to others.

The one I just did said "Om" was a unit of measure. Did they mean Ohm? What does Om measure?

Ok. Missed that. Was just skimming the puzzle. Didn't really try. I just did 4 random entries to get the solution immediately to see what the puzzle was about.

I got blue first today.

Had a nice streak going in the NYT Wordle. Ended today at 134 days.
It's a day where the letters line up in a way where you have a ton of options for words and it boils down to getting lucky with the right one. So even though I had three letters and the proper spots by the second guess, I didn't get the word. I guessed several very common words with the letters used, and it turned out to be a common word, but NOT the spelling I had always thought. So, on the plus side, I learned something.
Answer is in the spoiler.

Wordle 1,497 3/6*

Was mine this morning. My brother got it in 6, my wife got it in 6. Neither "approved" of what the word is.

I've never had an issue with a word used. A word is a word after all.
Although, I would understand if someone wants plurals removed.
I also play Cody Cross and their version of Wordle has a 6 letter word on Saturday nights. Same number of guesses. That gets a bit more interesting.

IIRC, there are no plurals in wordle, at least i recall the original dev saying that.

Cool. I might actually switch to the actual Wordle app now that my run is done. Everything else about the NYT app sucks except Connections, and that's been getting pretty stupid lately. Four words that are obviously connected, but not here... Three obvious words and then one nobody knows because it hasn't been used that way since the 1500s... Purple is almost always words that start with or end with some other word or some other word related gimmick. And so on.
