Yay Amazon Prime!
Psychological horror or thriller about a small family that bunkers up during an Earth-wide crisis involving a disease.
This movie SUCKS!!! Absolutely terrible. Good performances, yes, but holy shit is the writing bad.
If I told you nothing happens and nothing comes at night, would you think I was lying? I'm not. All the marketing tries to convince you that there's zombies or supernatural monsters, but no it's just a bad cold that causes people to not trust each other.
I really want to make some sort of Blair Witch comparison, but to be fair, this had some light action early and the final scene. I stress LIGHT. Plus, unlike this film people saw Blair Witch and it's lack of anything made it a pop culture icon. It Comes at Night is just going to be forgotten, and rightfully so.
Punch your TV if this comes on.

I wish I had remembered this review before I saw it was on Max and watched it.
It's an A24 film, as well. I expect better from them.
