I have said for a long time that HR is a direct rip off of First Sergeant's except instead of working for the soldiers/airmen (employees), they work for the corporation.

Meh. The younger generation loves trotting out the "our brains aren't even done til 25!" As an excuse for whatever idiocy they're explaining away (that previous generations didn't have a problem with), so let's lean in to that and treat them like children. I can't see any significant downside. And they'll learn about consequences.

I kinda think everyone should be forced to pass a (not necessarily easy) safety/training course. Veterans exempt, of course They already passed a rigorous one.
But anyone under 21.... yes, certainly. Their brains aren't even developed fully, yet.
But 18 shouldn't be the gun age, either. There are plenty of 14 year old hunters out there who handle weapons better than 30 year old rednecks.
