This isn't very 'techy', but, it's about a printer, so I put it here.

Similar story to my CompUSA story a while ago.

Bought a printer/fax/copyier/etc device from Office Max a while back. Great printer, really like it. At the time, I bought the extended protection plan. Recently, it stopped printing red. So, everything is yellowish greeny colors. It started when I put new ink cartridges in. So, it very well could be the ink cartridge. However, I hardly EVER print in color, so, it could be something else. The previous cartridges emptied themselves due to the printer being left on at all times (months on end) and it doing periodic 'cleanings'. So, it sucks the ink out over time. I don't like this. . . but anyway, because I'm a bastard, and because the printer sucks the ink so I have to buy more. . . I decided to play my 'warrenty' card. But, again, I have no documentation for anything regarding the purchase. We call Office Max and ask if they can look up our warrenty. They can't. But, if I bring the printer in, they'll replace it. Cool. So I do. And they did. Again, no docs, no nothing. Just taking my word that I did buy the protection plan and they replaced my printer. The exact version of printer is no longer in production, so I had to take it's current replacement. Same features, but better guts now so it prints a bit better/faster and has a cool 1.5" color LCD dispaly instead of a 2 line green text LCD display.

So, in summary, Office Max has really cool customer service. They hooked me up, big time.
