After a few days of digesting the book, I decided I don't like the ending. Wishy-washy. The entire book is spent building up to this "the truth must be told!" climax, and at the end we get.... "We don't need to tell the secret. The secret is all around us in beautiful works of art."
Ok... what the fuck?
And another thing, the rich dude who ended up being the "Teacher" bad guy? Why did he turn the gun on our heroes when he did? They were hell bent for leather trying to unravel the secret... and then, suddenly, he pulls a gun on then and demands he join them to unravel the secret, or die.
Again, huh?
Maybe I zipped through the book too quickly.
Book - The DaVinci Code - spoilers - *spoilers*
Just cos he can come up w\ semi-interesting plots doesn't mean the writing that ties it all together doesn't suck. His character development leaves something to be desired. As does his characters' interactions.
