I'm just shy of obese, but I try to stay muscular enough to carry it well.

Will and I are actually in a lot of that, because the camera loves us. I'm the one floating still watching the whale shark pass right over me. Will is the smallest diver there.

BTW, it was as expensive as 3 days of scuba charter out in the ocean, but the kid said, "Best Christmas Present Ever," so that pretty much makes my christmas.

Yesterday, for a bit I was tending for another diver. I was sitting on the edge of another tank, looking down, watching him. My hand is on the edge, out of the water.
Suddenly, I feel something. A little Bat Ray is up out of the water, giving my fingers little kisses. I immediately thought, Oh man, this is a great day.
Any day a ray nibbles on your fingers is a good day. FYI.

Just did my first zoo dive, in a couple months. Big crowd, it's nice feeling like a rock star for a few minutes.
