Freezing shit to keep it.fresh

Post by GORDON »

Now that I'm alone in the house, I've had to adjust how I manage groceries. I've started keeping buns and bread in the freezer, and only removing a serving as needed. This way I can spend a month going through a package, with just me.

So.

Does that work for a bag of.potato chips? Will.the freezer keep it fresh, longer?

Anything with lower humidity will keep things like chips fresher for longer, since humidity it primarily what ruins that type of food. I do not have experience, but logically it should work.

Agreed.

Get yourself a good chip clip or several. If you're not sealing the bags as much as possible before storing them, you're screwing yourself over. They even have handheld devices that can heat up and re-seal unsealable bags if you're so inclined.

Also, now is the time to make or break good eating habits. So be cautious of that.
