A sound of sucking.
Edward Norton stars in this reimagining of a Ray Bradbury story. In that sentence is everything you need to know about this film.
The plot device behind the whole movie is the same as the story, but everything else is different. Instead of the future being different immediately when the hunting party returns, in the form of language and politics, the changes come in "time waves". These waves change little bits at a time. Thus, you have monsters that would have wiped out humanity before it got started living in high tech buildings...whatever.
Someone explain to me why an animal would develop armor to resist bullets if no humans were around to shoot at them and why haven't any animals now developed this ability?
This movie is just a mess.
