Wife used it for the first time last night. She used it as a pressure cooker for a whole chicken. She goofed a bit at the end and waited 30 minutes for the pressure indicator to show it was safe to open not realizing it was already saying it was good to go. Still as we were pulling the chicken out it was falling apart. Very tender and moist. It was a good first test.
There was also a news story about someone getting hurt using one, and the woman involved was going to sue, yada, yada, yada. However, she later relented admitting it was user error. She used it as a pressure cooker and stupidly used the release valve incorrectly giving herself steam burns. Same thing would happen with a real pressure cooker.
