Shame, she missed the other 6 overtimes!

Go Sparty! Well, UofM's starting QB is half-dead, so that didn't help.

OSUs win over OU looks less impressive now. I was just commenting to myself what a boring day of football it was, then that happened.

Cuse knocked off Clemson. That’s a bad loss to a double digit dog that was .500 going into the game.

Is that FBI scandal hitting college basketball coming to football?

Probably not, but they detail how it would work.

It's too early for football, as the 7 on 7 stuff hasn't really taken off the way AAU has, the players are less lucrative, and there are more eyes on football.

"We Want Bama"

Pretty humorous breakdown of the, now famous, saying. Even the Browns made it into the article!

I do want to point out they highlight one team that chanted "We Want Bama" and then went out and beat Bama...

Sigh.
UNC has 21 players out with injury for today's game vs No. 8 Miami...
Sadly, the Redskins are about as beat up as well.

Leisher's gotta be pretty happy.
No. 2 Penn State fends off No. 6 Buckeyes to stay unbeaten
COLUMBUS – J.T. Barrett’s legacy at Ohio State is safe.Barrett threw 13 passes in a fourth quarter while his program’s hopes of a win, a Big Ten title shot and a return trip to the College Football Playoff hung in the balance.
Oooops, ESPN.

Bama - UGA
OSU - Wisconsin
Clemson vs VaTech/Miami?

Everyone else on the outside if those teams win out?

Athough, does a UGA team that only loses to Bama deserve to be in ahead of UND?

Good question.

-Does Oklahoma deserve to be in over OSU?
-Does anyone in the Big 12 deserve a shot if 2 loss ISU wins their title? (They're currently tied for 1st place and hold wins over TCU and OU. They lost to unranked Texas and unranked Iowa...the Big 10 team that OSU plays next week.) By the way, this will sort itself out shortly as the four top Big 12 teams all play each other over the next few weeks.
-Washington is still 7-1, do they deserve a spot if they win out?
-Wisconsin is 8-0 and nobody is talking about them at all. It's hilarious that people have their "top four" as some combo of Georgia, Bama, ND, OSU, OU, and Clemson, yet Wisconsin is never mentioned. All they have to do is win out, and they are guaranteed a spot!
-Does Clemson deserve to defend their title over a team they beat 31-0 last year?
-By that ignorant logic, which I've heard people (*cough*Michiganfans*cough*) actually say out loud, Bama shouldn't be in over OSU because OSU beat them in the playoffs a few years ago.
-Does ND deserve to be in at all considering they didn't win a Power 5 conference?

The big thing people don't get about the playoffs is that the committee bases it on resume and who you are NOW, not then.
-In the first year of the NFL wildcard addition to the playoffs the Steelers needed to win out from around midseason to get into the playoffs, and then to win the Super Bowl. They did. The Giants followed that up with a similar performance the following year (or two).
-In college football's first year of playoffs, OSU lost to Virgina Tech at home in week 2. They then went on to run the table and win the title. Clemson followed the same path last year.

Lose in September. You can overcome that. You can't lose late.
You can lose to ranked teams. You can't lose to unranked teams, particularly at home.

The most important thing to note, however, is the season isn't over yet. Georgia or Bama WILL lose.OSU or Wisconsin WILL lose. The Big 12 four way tie will be decided. The ACC will have a last man standing. That's when we can really break down resumes and records.

In other news, Florida is going to dump Jim McElwain after his weird death threats statement that apparently was made up.

This is true, but their competition is a complete joke. Their side of the Big 10 is laughable.

In their defense, strong schedule, assuming Georgia doesn't collapse. But Miami and USC are kinda paper tigers, as was NCSU. Everyone else is taking one more chance to lose/win than ND is.

I believe the PAC12 has been eliminated.

The Big 12 is thisclose to being eliminated.

If Clemson loses again, and nobody in the ACC goes undefeated, they're out.

ND is out if they lose again.

The Big Ten is out if the Buckeyes lose, and Wisconsin loses the Big10 Championship. (And holy crap is that side of the Big 10 a joke.)

The SEC would be out if Georgia falls apart and then beats Bamao or if Auburn beats them both in November.
