It's too much.

I'd see those damn lines constantly while playing and it'd drive me nuts.

Why not just get a digital projector?

If you look, his mouse is some kind of pointing device. As in, it's not being pushed on the table. It's in his hand and up in the air and he points at the screens with it.

I'm guessing you don't get the resolution/refresh rate you need with an overhead projector. And personally, I wouldn't want my picture bigger, I'd want to wrap the monitors around me and get a more immersive spacial awareness thing. Have the monitors behind me showing what's be hind me, so instead of spinning my mouse to look back, I can spin my head and look behind me.

No, I'm pretty sure they do have the proper resolution/refresh rates. Several gaming mags actually rate projectors now alongside monitors because people are using them for gaming.

That is ideal and would be kickass, unfortunately I think it's more our future than our present. Although...I think it would be possible with a digital projector and the right setup.

Anything you can do with a bank of 22 monitors, you can also do with a projector, and probably for much less cost and effort.

The only difference would be device placement and how bright the ambient lighting in the room can be before it floods out the image.
