I jump in on the biggest Dread i've ever seen, a Battleship version, with a 6m bounty!
First a guy's in the local, so I'm worried.
But he leaves, AND THEN THE NODE CRASHES!
Luckly I was warping out after blowing up one of his battleship escorts.. but if it isn't there when I get back I'm gonna be angry!

One of you full time EVE peeps take a look at my stats and give me an idea of what to train and work on. How do I get my attributes higher?
Also, I'm flying the caracal Troy gave me and I'm curious as to what load out I should be using with it for NPC missions. (I figure on PvPer events you guys will tell me what to load and fly.)
Or should I be flying something better now?

Off the top of my head...
Train the Rate of Fire, Range, and Dmg Missile skills up to 4 (not the ones for Rockets/Standard)
Get yourself Drone 5, and Then drone interfacing/Combat drone operation up to a couple levels.
Navigation skills, get yourself some speed, turning ex. You can just buy most of the skills in that tree.
Battlecruiser skill, for a Ferox.

What do you mean "buy"? As in they're for sale so I don't have to spend time training them?

No, i just meant it would be worthwhile to buy a lot of the skills on that tree to train. Use my skills as an example.
My suggestions are based on that you are going for a Ferox, like everyone else.
If you want to be different, which we are finding might be good for pvp, You could go the Assault Ship or Interceptor Route, which I can give you advise on too.

What roles do the Interceptor and Assault ships play?
Let me give you a hint on my play style against the NPCs. I go into battle and just sit there. My ship never moves except to go claim cash and prizes from my victims. I just lob volley after volley of missles at a target until it is dead and then repeat for the next target. Occasionally hitting my shield booster to repair them.
To me, that sounds like an assault ship.

AF= Super Tanking, Anti interceptor/Other assault ships.
Quick agile, and small enough to avoid the big guns.
Interceptor= Hella fast, shoots missiles and flies around a target fast enough that they cannot hit with conventional setups. Used to "Tackle" a target, by warp scrambling/Webing before the dmg dealers, Jammers show up.
