A strange occurance

I jump over to help Gunn with tech secrets part three (level 2). He's getting over run in his Blackbird. No problem. I get there and warp in with him. He gets targeted and leaves. They all target me. I'm hitting the little guys first, taking them out left and right. But, I'm taking alot of damage too. I line up with a random station for warp and wait it out. I've got my shield booster running buying me time. Ok, they are into my armor now, and I'm almost out of cap. So, I hit warp. It works like it's suppose to and I get a pretty instant warp. I take another hit. Hmm. Normally as soon as I start warping, I stop taking damage. Oh well, could be lag. Then I get hit again, HARD. Armors almost gone. What the hell? I look and my speedometer indicates that I'm warping. I get hit again. It's into my structure again. What the fuck? I go to target the station again to reissue the warp. Maybe I'm crazy. . . But, I have that warp tunnel affect. I'm FUCKING warping. I get hit again. More structure gone. I spin my view around and there's a fucking red plus following me down my warp tunnel. I get hit again. I'm really low. The red plus seems to be getting further away. I get hit again. I'm REALLY low. One more and I'm dead. I sit back and prepare for it 'cause I don't know what the fuck is going on and can't do anything about it. Finally, the red plus is gone, and the final blow doesn't come. I was down to 13% structure as I come out of warp. And then I sat there a couple more seconds expecting the damn NPC pirate to come out of warp next to me and finish me. He didn't. I limp into the station to repair. The warp started, as in, I'm high speed and getting the warp tunnel affect at about 60% armor. I come out of fucking warp at 13% structure.

Any clues what the hell that's all about?

But I came out of it as a pod.

Shit like this has happened to me many a time. The speedometer looks like I should be flying in warp, but I'm not fucking moving. Cap is charged up, nothing's in my way, course is set, autopilot engaged, etc., but I just don't fucking move. Luckily, it hasn't ever happened to me when I was in the middle of a fight.
