amex express - secure online purchasing

Fucking awesome. Let's say you're buying something from some site online that integrated with Amex Express. You buy shit and check out as normal, except no card number or expiration date or other bullshit. Redirect to a site that lets you log in with Amex creds. Select the card you want to pay with and the e-mail you want the confirmation code sent to. E-mail shows in under 5s. Enter the six digit confirmation code to complete purchase.

EDIT: Only reason I have an Amex is because Costco only takes payment in plastic from them. Costco is abandoning that policy this year. I'm still thinking of keeping the Amex for the Express checkout and cash tracking abilities.

So... basically it's PayPal/google wallet/venmo, but only for AmEx?

Beats the fuck out of "Verified by Visa" which is the shittiest CC external in history.
