Serious Sam II?
Apparently, it has a May 3rd release date.
If you've never played Serious Sam: The First Encounter or Serious Sam: The Second Encounter and you like FPS games, you need to go get yourself a copy of each. They're both budgetware, but you'll find the graphics stand up pretty well today and the gameplay is just a blast. Enemies come at you in huge numbers. (That's an understatement.)
They're great games that deserve your attention. I hope SSII lives up to their good name.

SS1 was "budget software" from day 1, in the $20-$30 range, because they were an independant publisher (or someting, IIRC). Is SS2 going to be the same way?
Cake and I went through the co-op of SS1 about... 6 months ago. Was a decent time. I couldn't get the graphics set over 800x600.

SSII looks to be a fall release now. I'm thinking of going through the original and what I thought was a sequel, but apparently was an expansion pack, before II hits stores.

Cool, I didn't realize it was out.
Quake 4 and Call of Duty 2 are out now too.

I'll wait for those to go on sale before purchase. I still want to finish some NWN and play some SW Battlefront. I want to finish Doom3, kind of. . . I don't know if I like it that much. I just picked up and am learning Rome: Total War as well. So, no room for Q4 or CoD2. I'd go with SW Battlefront 2 over Q4 I think anyway.
So far, R:TW seems pretty cool. Seems to have way more city management in it in a Civ3 kind of way. It's not the normal resource gathering system of most RTS games. Lots of building options, recruitment options, etc. WAY too early to know if it's great. However, it's had some really good reviews. So, I bought it. I'll start a new thread on it later (or search for an old one that's out there already).

I will get SS2 sometime this week for sure. How many can co-op? ADDED: I just read that you can do up to 16 players in co-op and it's "insane". Cool. Count me in.
Q4 is in my queue as well for later, but Call of Duty 2 might be good enough to grab my interest now. I've still got Painkiller to play through though, so I might be FPSed out.
SW:B2 is intriguing. If enough Dtmaners played that (or Battlefield 2 which I hear is awesome) I guess I'd be forced to play.
As for NWN, I'm waiting for part 2.

Battlefront was alot of fun. Limited multi server selection, but still a fun game. I recommended it as a DTMAN replacement for AvP2. I won't play Battlefield as it's EA. I haven't bought an EA game in many years. FUCK EA. And I won't multi Serious Sam 2 with anyone that's already played it. So, if you DO buy it, entertain yourself with other stuff until the multi sessions start. I don't want ANY experienced person ruining or dropping hints, etc (VINCE!!). Don't play ahead!! (Diablo II).
I will wait for co-op to play SS2.
There are plenty of other FPS games out to go through solo.
