KDC - Knights of the Dark Council

We met this group going grey in Delucia and bothering people so they would attack them. Taran was the first to meet them. He was there collecting hides for a friend. Rumble Fish was constantly running up saying "Attack me". Taran tried to explain that he was busy and not in the mood for a fight. This went on for a while. Finally, out of frustration, Taran attacked. Figuring he'd just get it over with and then RF would leave him alone for the rest of the night. Rumble beat Taran. Taran got ressed and came back. Grabbed some equipment and went after RF again. After a long fight, RF got him again. Then RF started attacking Taran because he could. Taran was done, but unfortunately, he was still grey to RF. Taran tried to explain that he had no bandages and was hardly capable of fighting. (Which he tried to explain before this all got started) But RF didn't care. He kept wacking at Taran. So, Taran basically had to run around Delucia until he went blue to RF. Then, he went back to his business. RF, what a great citizen.

A few nights later. Taran got ready to fight and went to Delucia with Gordonopolis. They waited at the bank for the normal group to show up grey. This night, it was Berzerker. Taran and Opolis attacked. His healers were on him immediately and were trying to box us in. When he started getting beat down, he would run off. Very fast connection. . . So, Taran and Opolis turned their attention on the now grey, healers. The name of one has been forgotten though. This went on for some time. Eventually, Hulk Hogan joined the fight. All told, it was a 4 on two fight, with a healer or two thrown in. Taran ended up slaying Hogan and meeting back up with Opolis. By now, most of the other greys were blue. Taran and zerk were the only ones grey to each other now. So, they set out to fight. zerk with his 4 healers and Taran with 1. Zerk was announcing that he was owning Taran, making fun of him for using healers, and how Delucia was his town. Really quite cute. Right up until Taran got in a few good hally wacks, and then Taran was looting him. Zerk immediately flagged again. Opolis went for it this time. They battled in the caves for quite a while. A 3rd party healer was healing both fighters. When a friend of zerk's showed up, ill equiped to help him, he proceeded to hand off all of his belongings and die. Upon ressing, he announced how he owned Opolis. ???? Anyway, from there, he challenged and all out begged for TKV to go to war. Knowing that this was in Delucia's and her visitors best interest, we accepted. After all, if they are fighting us, they can't be grey, harrasing the other members of society. And that's what we live for. Taking care of the grief players. It's a thankless job. . . . and we love doing it.

09/02/00  What a first day. Score was 7 countable kills for TKV and 4 kills for KDC. And they claim they are winning. heheheh.

The first day of fighting started out with Malevolence attacking Taran at the bank. Taran didn't do too bad. Got him twice in a short time.

(All pics lost in server crash)

By the time Gordonopolis showed up, Mal was in full trash talk mode. He would grab a few regs and go after us. So, we got him again.

He continued to come back throwing trash talk our way in a most offensive way. So, we continued to kill him. After all, no one likes to hear that kind of talk. And, we were newb, lame res killers. I guess we are suppose to stand there and listen to him jabber about nonsense.

Then, for some reason, he stopped showing up. But that's when Berzerker came along. It wasn't long before he was out of commission.

Things were quite for just a little bit. Then poor, young Knifeboy showed up. He really never had a chance.

Almost felt bad for that one. But then I was reminded that we will have to kill the privates, as well as the generals. And speaking of those, they showed up again. Now, it was zerk and our good friend Rumble Fish. RF somehow made himself red in the last few days. Imagine that. They did a good job of poisoning Taran outside of town and he couldn't get cured. Our first loss of the day. But don't worry, Taran's a trooper and was back at it after a short while. And look what he and Opolis did.

After a while, the bad guys were all equiped again, and the troops went at it again. This time, Taran took a chance on a miss that didn't come, and went down. Poor Opolis hit a lag pocket and dropped as well. Ah well, a bad finish for a good day. That's when Taran bowed out for the day. Later that night. Gordon was scouting Delucia. Came across a blue zerk. Stupid bugs. . . . after a short conversation about the blue/orange stuff, zerk attacked Gordon. Gordon went down. So, the count for the day was 7 solid kills for TKV and a bunch of Mal corpses (he was REALLY owning us) and 4 kills for KDC. Rumor has it, they are recruiting in Delucia AND they are winning!!! Gotta love logic. . .

09/03/00  Today, the fighting ended with 7ish kills for TKV and only 1 kill scored by KDC. We are totally being owned. It's pretty ugly.

What a day. We only had a little bit of time for warring and we made good use of it. Ran into these two guys and their healers. Raven was a fine addition to the KDC guild. Welcome to the war.

(All pics lost in server crash)

We took some time off and returned later in the evening. Sensing we were getting out numbered, we brought our own blue healer along this time. As it turns out, we were outnumbered. KDC has taken to hiring NPC paladins to fight along their side. I commend their tactic, as ineffective as it was.

Opolis and Taran split up at one point, and Opolis fell to their poison. But he went back with Taran and they went at it again. We lost track of what happened from there, but it went something like this. . . .

Being the good fighter he is, he came back again.

and again. . .

and again. . . .

We felt VERY owned tonight. Inbetween Raven's ownage, Opolis went and did this. . .

Lar was here for this one, and helped out a bit. Lar was actually present for much of the fighting in the evening. He was an excelent healer and didn't hesitate to give the grey healers something to do as well with a friend who's name escapes me. Thanks again Lar. Over all, there was alot . . . ALOT. . . of running around. KDC is a very mobile group. Funny thing is, they made fun of us for using healers and said we sucked. I dunno. I guess they just have a different method of measuring success than we do. If this is being owned, and being owned is wrong. . . I have to say, I don't wanna be right.
Totals for the night: 7 kills for TKV, 1 for KDC. We aren't going to count the NPC's.

09/04/00  The war rages on with TKV earning 2 kills and KDC earning 0.

Today, Gordonopolis went to visit Delucia and see how things were going. He ran into a total of 5 KDC members. Bo Duke (welcome to the war finally), Berzerker, Willie, Raven and Rumble was just outside of town. After dodging left, dodging right, running forward, running back, he was able to bring Willie down.

(All pics lost in server crash)

After looting the corps, he went after Bo who retreated to the safety of the other KDC members. A short while later, Taran and Gordonopolis went KDC hunting. They weren't at the bank, so they went to other places.

Still no KDC. So back to Delucia they go. While waiting, and having a conversation, Raven appears from out of nowhere. Wonder if he got the number of the truck. . .

Unlike last night, this was the last we saw of him. He didn't even come back for his horse.
The night ends with two kills for TKV and a big zero for KDC.

09/08/00  Two deaths for KDC and one for TKV.

Gordonopolis and Vader made the rounds today. They ran into Berzerker and things didn't work out too well for him.

(Pic lost in server crash)

But he did come back and he managed to get Vader. But in TKV style, Vader came back and got his loot back from Zerk. Unfortunately, that picture didn't turn out.
The fighting ended with those kills. Two deaths for KDC and one for TKV.

09/23/00  Zero kills for KDC, one countable kill for TKV, and many enjoyable moments.

Tonight, Berzerker stepped up to bat. We chased him north, we chased him south, and we killed him here.

(Pics lost due to server crash)

After that, he found it funny to talk trash and stuff. We of course didn't just stand there and listen to it. But, we were lame for res killing. Perhaps he should have
A. Not ressed while we were around.
B. Not called us names and trash talked.

I dunno, I guess we let him say what ever he wants to us, and we shouldn't kill him, so we aren't lame. . . .
He did eventually have enough, and resigned from his guild. So that's a total of 3. Two in the last two nights. Not too bad. . . .
Zero kills for KDC, one countable kill for TKV, and many enjoyable moments.

09/24/00 - 12/02/2000  No idea of the totals or the details. But they are here for your viewing pleasure.

These are images that we have in our archives but have no details associated with them. View and enjoy. We do!

Catching some rays I guess. . . .

Double take. . . .

Nope, it's not the same pic as the one above. He's just that bad!

Dead and picked clean. . . .

Orange corpse, blue guy on a horse? I love when they do that!! Some people just can't hack it. . . .

Some good stories to be told with the pics above I'm sure. . . . Ones I know WE'D enjoy telling anyway!

12/03/2000  Today's fighting ends with one kill for TKV and one for KDC, known as NZI from here on out. They changed their guild name and abbreviation. . . .

We came across Hulk at the bank in Del. He ran as soon as he saw us and we followed. Trying to be slick, he ran through a gate into a dungeon. Gordon made it through after him. The inevitable happened and we have this. (look close and you can see)

(Pic lost due to server crash)

Can't say that I blame him for running. From there, Rumble showed up at the bank. He was near death at least 3 times but his posse of blue healers kept him going. Hulk showed up during the tussle and the two of them got some good hits on Gordon and he went down. Taran toyed with them for a bit, but decided he couldn't fight both of them plus the healers, and decided to leave. We went back later and met up with Vandal. Vandal claimed to not like 'the fish guy' and was interested in joining our guild. So we invited him to our tower and proceeded to kill him. You see, through our research, we found that Vandal is a tamer character of Zerks. He was probably all excited about 'infiltrating' the enemy guild. Puh-lease. You will have to do MUCH better than that. But, the penalty for spying as everyone knows is death. We didn't get a pic. We didn't see any more NZI this night.

12/09/2000  With the new additions to the NZI (now known as BSR again) stone, we sent a patrol to Del to see what was happening. It wasn't too long before the TKV kills started going up. Not sure how to count them though. Should a new res armed with a fully healed White Wyrm count as a kill? We'll say no, but just mention that we killed him at least 5 times while he was trying to sick it on us. Total count was 2 solid kills for TKV. None were scored by BSR.

We sent a patrol to Del to see if there was anything going on. Shortly after arriving, Vandal showed up and went to the stables and pulled out a White Wyrm. Goron made quick work of him at the bank. By the time Alex got there, Vandal was dead and the Wyrm was looking around nervously.

(Pics lost due to blue healing server gankers)

From here, Vandal would get ressed, say "All kill" and then die. The wyrm never really got into the fights. Finally, looking for something more, Gordon led the wyrm out of town were he and Alex started smacking it around. Just as it was about to die, Vandal showed up with a blue friend and started healing it. It survived, but JUST barely. Alex and Gordon got split up and Rumble showed up. Alex and Gordon left the scene to regroup. Upon going back to town, they ran into Rumble again. The fight started and Alex and Gordon are doing pretty good. Then the blue healers kicked in. Two of them. TKV was wondering when Vandal and his pet would show up again. But, that time didn't come. Rumble, with his TWO blue healers, went down to TKV's superior skills.

Funny thing is, the healer started trying to insult TKV by asking why we always gank and how a 2 on 1 fight is wrong. This just blows my mind. First of all, Rumble had TWO blue healers. So, technically, it was a 3 on 2, BSR's favor. Then lets add in the 'Vandal' factor. That's two BSR, two blue healers against 2 TKV. Taking the total up to 4 on 2, BSR's favor. But let's not forget the 'Wyrm' factor. How many should that count for? Let's just say 1 to prevent argument. Making it a 5 on 2 fight, BSR's favor. And here's this blue healer telling us how we don't fight fair fights. How out numbered does TKV have to be, so that it's a fair fight?! It's not our fault that they are so unorganized. Oh, to add to the fun, Rumble comes back after ressing spewing some crap about how all he was wearing was garbage and we should enjoy it. No one really paid attention to what he was saying. So, I guess it's ok that TKV killed him, cause it was all garbage on his corpse anyway. Like we are in this for the loot! If that were the case, we'd fight a guild that had something. All we want to do it keep these morons off the streets. And I think we do a pretty good job of it. So, the totals for the night were 2 kills by TKV and none by BSR.

12/22/2000  Dragons and Fish and Vandals, OH MY!!! Expensive day for our friends at KDC/BSR/NZI now know as B/D or something.

TKV went to Delucia like many times before in search of the bad guys. The town was mostly quiet when we got there. However, there was one KDC supporter there spewing some anti-TKV stuff. Shortly thereafter, like many times before, a member from KDC does show up. His name was Vandal and he was packin' a drake. Without hesitation, TKV goes into action and takes the tamer down easily.

(Pics lost due to server crash)

Then, Alex takes after the drake and leads him out of town where he and Opolis do fatal damage to it.

By the time they make it back into town, Vandal is healed up and has pet number two ready to go. It's a dragon this time. Once again, TKV goes to work on the bad guy and takes him down.

Once again, Alex sets his sights on the dragon. However, Rumble Fish decides to make an appearance and takes the focus off of the dragon. Just for a little while.

But is was long enough to allow the dragon to turn blue to TKV. That's when Vandal made an attempt to save his poor dragon. Sorry Vandal, if it lives, you'll just use it on us again. So we keep Vandal dead.

Eventually, the dragon did go wild in town. It attacked an innocent visitor to the city and the guards quickly dispatched it. In the mean time, Vandal showed up with a big wyrm! He stuck that on Gordon and Alex took care of Vandal. Gordon lead the wyrm way out of town and Alex and Gordon took care of it.

So, for the day, TKV killed, Vandal a few times, Rumble once, a drake, a dragon (ok, we didn't strike the death blow, but we made sure it didn't live!), and a wyrm. KDC killed TKV ummmmm, not once. So, not sure what the math works out to, but it's something like Zero kills for KDC and a bunch for TKV.

12/23/2000  Another day of killing bad guys and their pets.

What a day. TKV heads out to Delucia and finds some bad guys. First we find Childs Play and go after him. He goes down after a small struggle.

(Pics lost due to dragons that don't belong in pvp)

Shortly there after, Malevolence showed up to do some banking, but it was cut short by TKV.

Childs Play had re-equipped and was joining the fight again. This time he had a wyrm with him. He did go down again, but we missed the picture. Gordon proceeded to take the wyrm for a walk out of town and Alex caught up with him. While fighting the dragon, Childs Play showed up again and was taken down. Ironically, the regs that were pulled from his body were the ones that allowed Alex and Gordon to finish the dragon. Had he not shown up, the dragon might have lived due to lack of regs.

Malevolence came out to try to help the dragon as well, but was brought down by Alex and Gordon. Again, the picture was missed. After the dragon was disposed of and looted of over 1800gp, TKV went back to town. They met up with Rumble Fish and went to work on him. Like so many other fights, this happened.

Malevolence made another attempt to do something and wasn't doing too well. He ran through a gate to try to escape and we all ended up in Papua. Another city with a KDC corpse in it.

A little later, Rumble showed up again, only to be taken down again.

So, the totals for this day were. . . . . Zero kills for KDC. . . AGAIN and ummmm, around 7 plus a wyrm for TKV. And they still call us newbs. . . .

12/26/2000  Post holiday fun with the bad guys.

During our normal patrols of Delucia, we came across a slew of KDC supporters. We got to hear about how we suck and how we are ganking newbs, how we use lame magery and DP, and all kinds of other things. One thing that stood out though, none of them were orange. If we are so bad, then why aren't they orange, and teaching us a lesson? Oh well. Eventually, they started believing what they were saying, and went so far as to go grey. Ummm. Ok. Gim Su May was the first to have a go at it. His dying word was 'Lame'. Ummm. Ok, I'm lame, but you are:

(Pics lost due to server crash)

I'd rather be 'lame'. But to be honest, I don't see how destroying my enemies is lame. Maybe if I died all the time, I'd see my enemies as 'lame' as well. Anyway, Ghetto Superstar was the next to try his hand at being grey. He was also taken down, a few times, after a flurry of blue healing by both sides. It was actually one of the better bits of fighting that I've seen in a while. Alas, all those pictures didn't turn out. However, there was one time when DemiarcherX decided he wanted the weapon that GS had been carrying. We took it back from him.

In an attempt to get organized and actually put up a fight, Berzerker decided to recruit some of the KDC supporters. So, they gated to Hollywood Hogan's house. We followed and marked some runes. We later went back there looking to see what was in the area.

Carefull Hollywood. . . . . We know where you live. . . . .

Later, we did see a few of the new recruits running around.

However, when it came time to engage, we couldn't find any. Until we saw Hollywood at the bank. However, he had opened a gate and was leaving the area. We waited around for a little bit, but they never came back.

So technically, there were no official war kills scored tonight. We'll mark it up as 3 kills for the good guys, none for the bad guys.

- Taran

12/27/2000  Rumble and Zerk have a go at us. And later that night, DemimooreX gives it a try.

Again tonight we went to Delucia to check for bad guys. Low and behold, we find Rumble Fish. We pounce and he dies.

(Pics lost due to nasty orcseses.)

Then Zerk makes a long awaited return. He doesn't last long.

He comes back with a DP katana and some bandages. He actually did this a few times. Had some axes here and there as well. Here's one of the pics.

Later, he shows back up as Rumble again.

Why he keeps coming back is a mystery to us. All we can figure is that he thinks he's winning. In fact, as he's running around town as a new res, he is going on about how he is 'rocking' us. We think he really has himself convinced that he's winning. I dunno. And get this. . . . Alex and Gordonopolis go back to Delucia later that night. Alex was the first to spot Zerk and went ahead and attacked. Just to prove a point, Opolis stayed out of the fight. Was just following along and watching. After some running around, Alex killed Zerk up by the healers. A one on one fight between Alex and Zerk. Opolis never hit him, never healed Alex. Never blocked. Nothing. Yet, when Zerk ressed, he came running back yelling about the two on one and how we are 'newb gankers'. I ask again. What does it take for there to be a fair fight? Ok, yes, there were two TKV in the area, however, one of them wasn't doing anything! It was incredible. His perception of reality is just so twisted. I'm actually starting to feel sorry for this individual.

Later that night, DemimooreX has a run in with May. However, every time she'd get Demi within death blow range, he would disappear. But May is not one to give up. She sticks around and waits for him. That's when she saw Letzride (spelling may be incorrect) hanging with Demi. Let was supplying Demi with weapons and such. So, figuring that Demi thought he needed a healer, May called Alex. Alex made it to Delucia, and about 45 seconds later, May and Alex were looting Demi's minimal stuff. Thank you for playing. Come back any time.

The total kills for tonight is unclear again due to all the zombi'ing done by Zerk. If you counted every time he came at us with a weapon, I'd say we scored about 12 kills tonight. But I'll just call it 5. Oh, KDC didn't score any. Good thing all those people joined KDC last night. They're making a BIG difference.

- Taran

12/28/2000  Gordon and Hollywood face off in Delucia.

Gordonopolis went to Delucia to see what he could find. He found Hollywood Hogan.

(Pics lost due to server crash)

Hollywood decided to have another go at it and Opolis took care of him again.

So tonight's total was 2 kills scored by TKV and another night of failure for KDC. No kills for KDC again tonight. Starting to wonder how long they'll hold out. . . .

And for the record, these were one on one type fights. But I'm sure we'll hear how SOMETHING was unfair and we are still lame. . .

- Taran

12/30/2000  Alex is doing business at the Brit bank when Zerk tries to interrupt. . . . Total kills for today, TKV scores one, KDC scores zero.

Alex was talking to one of the locals about an item he was trying to sell. Out of no where, Zerk starts attacking Alex. They were inside the bank at the time. Alex hits back and runs out side the bank so there's a little more room. Zerk doesn't follow. So Alex goes back inside and casts some more and returns outside the bank. Still no Zerk. So once again, Alex runs inside and casts some more. Realizing that the bank wasn't providing the protection he needed, Zerk runs outside the bank in an attempt to get away. But to no avail. . .

(Pics lost due to server crash)

A little while later, Alex sees Zerk again. As Alex attacks, Zerk loots something from a blue corpse. So, Zerk fell to Alex and a few local towns people.

So today's total was 1 kills scored by TKV and none for KDC.

12/31/2000  Hollywood hides in his house, but walls don't stop TKV. . . And one more kill to TKV's score and none for KDC.

May and Alex find Hulk Hogan at home. He decided to attack May's horse and pays a high price. Then Hollywood shows up. As if he can do anything to TKV. . . .

(Pic lost due to server crash)

Score one more for TKV and none for KDC.

01/01/2001  Big fun in little Delucia. TKV scored big and KDC scored, well, not at all, again.

Doing our normal rounds, we run accross various members of KDC. The story for each kill is pretty much the same. We saw them, we killed them, they called us names. Here are the pictures for the day. I'll save time by not telling the story for each one. So, apply "We saw him. He tried to run. We killed him." to each picture you see below. Except for the ones with Hollywood in his house. Then it was "He was trying to hide and stay safe in his house. We killed him."

(Pics lost due to the new year's day hangover)

01/02/2001  What a day, what a day. It started out with May and Alex. Opolis was added later. The day ended with 14 confirmed KDC kills and another ZERO for KDC.

The kills today reached a new high in this war. A total of 14 kills were scored by TKV, while sustaining NO losses. The action started early with May and Alex doing some damage to KDC in Delucia. After KDC started getting some blue healers, TKV decided to leave. KDC was doing nothing but running around with baids, weapons and blue healers anyway. . .

Later on, Opolis joined the party and we racked up some more kills. This was by far the largest showing of force by KDC in quite some time. At one point during the day, they even had 3 new members. LegacyOfKane, Deadly, and DemigodX. By the evening, they were all out of KDC and didn't get to participate in the battles as anything other than blue healers. Judging from the destruction of KDC, I'd have to guess they were glad.

The action was to fast and there are too many pictures to tell the story play by play. The picutures are all posted below however which are telling enough in my opinion.

(Pics lost due to server crash

Note the TWO blue healers trying to keep Steve alive. Nice try guys.

So the totals for tonight, as you can see, are 15 confirmed kills for TKV and another night of nothing for KDC. They are just holding on for that one time when everything goes just right and they get lucky enough to kill one TKV member. I guess that will justify allllll this dying on their part. Amazing. But in the mean time, we'll keep driving up our score.

- Taran

01/03/2001  All good things must come to an end. GoT let our streak come to an end and KDC did score one kill tonight. However, we did score 7 more kills before that happened. We scored one more after the fact. So, the totals were 8 kills scored by TKV and a long awaited one by KDC.

A couple TKV members came back from a long break and we all went KDC hunting. It didn't take long before we found some. The fighting started fast and furiously and KDC fell 7 times.

(All pics lost due to GoT's dial-up connection)

We would like to take this time to welcome Shadownight to our war.

At this point, TKV all left to drop off loot and get ready for moe. This is about when GoT logged in, in Delucia. So, he was all alone and got hit hard by 3 KDC members. After making fun of him for a bit, we all went back to Del to make up for our loss. However, Zerk was the only one in town at that point.

After waiting for a bit at a few different spots we know KDC to hang out at, we decided to visit their house in Trammel.

The totals for the night are 8 kills by TKV and 1 kill by KDC.

01/04/2001  The faces of KDC are changing, but the results of the battles are not. TKV scored 3 kills and KDC scored none.

During our visit to Delucia, Shadowknight showed up and was immediately put out of his misery.

And from the looks of things, he's had enough. Farwell Shadow.

But alas! A new face to the war. MAX!!! Welcome Max!!!

Ummm. But then again. . .

Farewell Max.

Come on Zerk. Moral amongst your troops must be very low. You MUST do something to rally them. Perhaps tomorrow you'll have a better day. . . .

But then, perhaps not.

Tonights totals were 2 kills (and resignations) scored by TKV and 0 for KDC.

01/05/2001  Zerk was feeding us more kills tonight. He's recruiting blue healers as well as members as we see tonight. But, that's not even working for him. TKV scores 10 kills and KDC scores their 0 again.

God Of Thunder started this day of killing by taking on DemiarcherX alone and killing him in two different fights. No pictures were taken unfortunately. A little while later, Alex and May went to Delucia to find the bad guys again. It was pretty dead for a little bit, but we can count on KDC to show up eventually. And so the action starts.

(Pics lost due to Taran's not making file backups)

Vader joined us for this kill, but decided that we had things under control and went on to do some other stuff.

While all this is going on, DemitamerX is furiously trying to keep his comrade alive.

At one point, he has this to say. . .

"He suks 1v1" So, a mage vs. a jacker with a healer is a 1v1? If you follow the journal, he actually had two healers going. May eventually joined in and we put Zerk down again. Their logic is astounding. In between In Vas Mani's, he declares that Alex 'suks' in a 1 vs 1 fight. I'm left speachless.

Then, DemiarcherX makes an appearance. An ineffective one.

Zerk went down in this short battle as well. Their healer failed at his task once again.

So the totals tonight were 10 (one of the Zerk pictures did not turn out) kills scored by TKV and 0 scored by KDC. Keep trying guys. Maybe things will change. . . . Maybe.

03/31/2001  Picking back up in the middle of the action. . . . The weekend started with some bad choices by TKV after a long leave of absence. Those mistakes weren't made this day. TKV scores no fewer than 20 kills and AiA/KDC scores one.

After a long, needed break, TKV comes back to make up for a few mistakes made the previous couple of days. This slide show of pictures is long, and the faces familiar. . . for the most part.

This was one of their blue healers that thought it would be funny if he looted one of our kills.

They say pictures are worth a thousand words. I think we have a novel up there. . .

04/01/2001  The enemies were harder to find today, but when we found them, we killed some. Total count was TKV 9, KDC/AiA 2.

Today started out with Judah being taken out by Zerk, and the Zerk being taken out by Opolis.

(Pics lost due to server crash)

Later, Alex and Judah get a couple more before Judah dies again.

A friend had to get that shot because TKV ended up being out numbered about 5 to 2. From there, TKV opened up a little later and accomplished the following.

Score one more for TKV and none for KDC.

06/14/2001  Some of the records for tonight's events have not come in yet, but here's what I know so far. . . .

Alex showed up with Hyapatia and GoT and Javelin had been fighting Troy and Seker. While devising an attack plan, Seker walked off, never to be seen again this night. So, the scouting began. Alex ran into Great Abyss in Del, and as expected, he made a mad dash to the AiA safe house. Hyapatia met him half way there and started his beating. Alex got there in time to see him go down.

(Pics lost due to server crash)

Some time passed, and we found both Psycho and Abyss huddled inside their house. Some messing around went on, and Abyss dies again.

More time passes, and Abyss and Psycho make a dash for a kill. They get the lucky hits they were looking for and Javelin goes down. Abyss takes this opportunity to end the night with a kill and leaves. He's not seen again. However, Psycho decides to press his luck. After all, he does have the house to protect him. Or does he?

You can run, but you can't hide. He came back as Psychosomatic to loot his body. Rather than come out to avenge the death. After all, this Psycho is also a guilded member. He came back as a nonguilded friend to let Alex know that he was happy that he died because he was 'gaining skills'. Umm, yep. Justify your ignorance with skill gain. He also wanted to talk about Alex's lack of interest in a 1 on 1. A popular topic among AiA. A standard statement to justify their deaths. It's basically an automatic response to any situation in which they die. So, this time wasn't any different. The fact that Alex had to keep him paralized just to keep him in the area was not mentioned. Any chance he got, he would bolt back to his house. This was even after Javelin was dead and it would have been 2 vs. 1 with AiA having the two. No, he didn't stay and fight. He ran home. What was pointed out however, was that Alex had just killed him, 1 on 1, with Psycho IN the house. That was 1 v 1. A duel. Non-gank. Man to Man. Psycho chose to fight from within the house, and died. Not even 5 minutes later, he was taunting Alex as his non-guilded friend, with "You won't fight 1 v 1". It's so automatic, that they just don't realize what's going on. His response to Alex pointing out the obvious was "I had no bandages". Wow. So, I guess that kill doesn't count, or was no big deal, or whatever. After all, 'he had no baids'. So, erase that kill from the records, from memory. It never happened. After all, he had no baids.

That's the AiA mentality now. Fight from inside the house. Zombie constantly. Forget deaths so winning is the perception.

Mind boggling.

06/15/2001 - 07/18/2001  Most of the records for this time period as well as many of the pics were lost. But there's still much to be seen. Losses were taken on both sides, but AiA by far suffered more.

(39 broken pics deleted)

If you look closely, (well, you don't really have to look THAT closely) you'll see the blue healing, the zombi'ing and all the other fun stuff that is AiA. Keep tryin' boys. You might get it one day. . . . But, you REALLY should undeclare until you do.

07/12/2001  The night's events as told by Gordon and Alex.

The night's events as told by Gordon and Alex:

GORDON: I decided to hunt with Alex.

We went scouting, and I found Simon inside their little 2-story in the jungle. He was hidden.

3 Meteor Storms later, he was dead. He tried to move, but I still hit him against his back wall. Got his horse, too.

(Pics lost due to server crash)

Alex came down. I thought he was banned from that house like I was, but not. He was about to loot when "Phil" showed up, and Alex got out of the house. 30 seconds later, psycho and psychosomatic are in their big 2-story. Me and Alex hang around and dump some mana. it's 2v2, but they wont come out, and psycho is just standing in the doorway plinking arrows, so we leave to go hunt other areas.

Ten minutes pass and no orange, so I go back out there to see wassup.

"Zandal" is in the big 2-story standing in a good spot...hoping he's not paying attention I open up the MS's. I'm about to kill him with the 3rd when he moves.

He does this thing where he'll stand next to the wall, take a MS, move and heal, and come back. Damn if I'm gonna help him build resist....so I stand there a minute and hide. Figgering zandal has 0 tracking, I reckon he didn't know whether I hid or recalled. I am hidden inside the "L" in the back, watching him. Z opens the door, then closes it. Pause. He opens the door, steps on the front steps, runs back in. Pause. Z opens the door, runs to the bottom corner of the house, then runs back in. Pause. Eventually, he comes out as far as where I was hidden, and didn't bump into me. As soon as he gets all the way behind the house, I run to the front and energy wall the door.

I started dumping on him. Alex showed up and we were both dumping on him. We have ZERO idea how he survived. He should have been dead twice over. He got back inside the big 2-story.

I knew he wouldn't come back out at that point, so I started recalling around looking for more orange.

Alex: May had been hidden by a small house waiting to see who would come out of their house. About the time Gordon and I left is when Zan and Wis came out. They walk right by May and hang out at the shop at the cave opening. This is when I recall to the shop. They immediately lay into me (surprise), so I go defensive. May is keeping on the attack. I heal and move away a bit. I think Zan is chasing me when I notice that May has killed Wis. I double back and see Zan looting Wis.

GORDON: I visit the area and see wistler drop just as I get there. I drop an explosion on zandal, who for some reason stopped to loot w. So, the second spell of my combo was a para.

ALEX: Due to the trees, I'm having trouble targeting. I cast explosion and target. I think I got another spell off (MB or EBolt) and he goes down. Gordon being there was a welcome surprise. Didn't know Zan was para'd either. Was wondering why he got so brave. Thought he'd dropped. heheh

GORDON: Homeboy didn't have any pouches.

He was at about 25% health and frozen when at least 2 of the 3 of us exp/ebolted him.

Deader than shit. Tragically, neither w's horse nor z's Ridgeback(?) survived the encounter.

There was much rejoicing.

ALEX: Jav was in Del near the bank bank when I show up and track Wis. I pick him up by the trees. Jav moves in and I start reveal. My tracking was off and he was about 5 spaces away from where we thought. Wis starts expl and I cancel my spell and start expl as well. I think Jav gets the first kat hit in at this point. I get MB cast before wis expl hurts me. My expl goes off and I follow with MB. I cast another MB, but Jav's kat swings are too much for him and he goes down.

That's when I head back to the jungle to see what's up with Gordon and proceed to mess up a good para opportunity.

GORDON: z must have gotten word that I was there alone, because he came out to fight. He missed me 3 times with the kat as I laid another e-wall on the door. So, with 60 mana, I open up on him. I'm getting ready to target the killing ebolt, and Mr "We aren't lame house fighters" runs and hides in another house until he gets a heal off, then comes out to fight again. I'm at about 15 mana, and dont feel like chasing him house to house. I head up to the mountain.

Zan follows and it was hairy for about 3 seconds when he inturupted a couple of my heal spells and reactive armor wouldn't stick to me, but I pulled through. I got him para'd.

Homeboy still didn't have any pouches.

I see Alex heading toward me, and I did an exp/para combo. Alex just opens up on him. I didn't get another para up in time, and z got away.

That's about all that's relevant. 4 Kills for us, 0 for them.

ALEX: Couldn't help but laugh at how Simon and the psychos disappeared for the night. . . .

07/15/2001  Score a few more for TKV, and none for AiA. I bet they still think they are doing ok though. . . .

Gordon and Alex go hunting. As has been the pattern for some time now. . . some AiA are found at their house. They made a dash out of their house to do some swinging at them though. One died, the other was pushed back in the house. Poor fella.

(Pics lost due to server crash)

After GA got his traditional axe and bandages, they came out of their house again. They bola'd Alex off of his horse and attacked it. Had to take it into the house to get it dead though. So Alex mounted his Ethreal and carried on. This horse kill has been the only AiA kill scored in 4 days. Good job guys. . . . A little later, they came out to fight again. Gordon and Alex kept Psycho para'd on his house steps (imagine that) and layed into him. He did make it up the ladder, but couldn't get "I ban thee" out fast enough to keep Alex from hitting him with a final spell taking him down.

Alex helped himself to Psycho's stuff while Gordon dispatched GA once again.

So, three more to the TKV score, and no more to the AiA score. Well, unless you want to start keeping track of horses. In which TKV scored 3 mount kills and AiA scored one. Good job AiA. Keep up the good work. Funny how there were AiA blues in the area, and they didn't get their AiA orange on. Kinda says something. No?

07/17/2001  Alex wrote this one for me. Thanks!!

The night's events as told by Alex:

Jav and I decide to go out on a small search and destroy mission. We head out out and find some hiding inside their two story house. Again. That's an old story, so I leave. Jav messes with them a bit, but nothing eventful happens. Later, we decide to check Delucia again. We run into four of them. We pull back, make up a plan, and head back in. Uh oh, it's up to 7 or so. Really couldn't count them all, but there was A LOT of orange. Names I remember. . . Zandel, Seker, Wistler, Psycho, somatic, Tanis, ummmmm. That's all I can think of now. Anyway, it's a mess. Needless to say, the plan was for 4, not 6 (I still think 7, but I'll run with 6). FRED!! The last one was Fred. I think. Anyway. . . . We are scrambling. No one's landing any hits though and I find myself alone with the psychos. Opportunity!! I stop and start casting. Boom, Boom, Boom, and somatic goes down.

(Pic lost due to server crash)

Start casting again and I have Psycho hurt and on the run. I break off to let Jav finish that one so I could go back and get somatic's few possessions. Looting away and Seker is missing me like . . . I dunno. Something that misses a lot. Anyway, I loot a good percentage of his stuff before Seker finally lands a hit and there's at least two more orange in the area. I bail and head out of town. We regroup, re-equip a few things and head back out. Looking high and low. I finally see Tanis in Bucs. He's gone before I can get my horse moving. Didn't even TRY to take me!! I run into Jav in Buc's and we get ready to go. Somatic runs up and I chase. See, that's what TKV does when it sees an enemy. They attack, not run. Anyway, I chase and chase. He's just not gonna fight me. Which means, he's running to his friends. Sure enough, just around a bend, I see orange popping up all over the place. I do a 180 (granted, we attack orange on site, but 5+ on 1? We are only human. . . Well, I guess that's even up for debate. . . anyway) and start tearin' up the paths. I get on the other side of Buc's and Seker is still on me. I stop to fight (cause that's what TKV does. . .) and I'm casting, and casting, and casting. Seker is alllll red when more AiA start pouring onto the scene. Jav had been holding them off, but had to evade. I get one more spell cast, but Seker has gotten a heal or potion off. My spell takes him down to allllll red again. I have to move now because I'm getting hammered from all directions. With much of AiA chasing me, I decide it's time to depart. I recall out and meet up with Jav. We chuckle about the events for a bit and then call it a night.

We only scored one kill tonight. But, when it's 7 on 2, ANY kills with no deaths is pretty good in my book.

So, one more for TKV, none for AiA. Sorry boys. And I DO mean boys. . .

They feel the need to speak

It appears that KDC has discovered our website and had some thoughts they wanted to share. Here they are with my responses.

Rumble Fish:

HA, You Losers arereally lame ur website is a page of lies and Fabrications. You always gank and on ur site you fail to mention that its always two on one or three on one Kdc member!

Your Friend, Rumble Fish

My Response: It's sad that you are blind to the fact that KDC has always had someone around to heal them. The irony is almost too much to bare. And, not all fights were lopsided to our advantage. We have pictures of multiple KDC members attacking a single TKV member. It's funny that when it's 2 on 2, one KDC member falls and the other runs around town yelling GANK!! It was a fair fight right up until the KDC members started falling. I'm not sure why I have to explain all this to you. KDC members were there. The only problem is, KDC hates to lose. And when they do, they start screaming that things are unfair. Well, in case you didn't know. KDC challenged us to war. And, war is hell. TKV fights to win, and generally does. I'm sorry if KDC is not that well organized.

Good day,

Taran

Berzerker:

i just wnated to say you guys are great fiction writers. now that you have my SN we can talk. set up some serious battles. my guild is scattered. with the fall of shakua i am the new GM. things will be different. we are no logner KDC. rumble and I are starting our own guild. oh and dont go to my house. i own all 4 houses in that area. hope ya liked my villas. and hwy does rumble sound liek such a great guy on your site lol. i am the pvp leader of the guild.

~ Lord Berzerker~

My Response: I'm not sure what you are trying to say here. The only part of this that I understood was the fact that you are trying to impress me with the number of houses you own. I'm tempted to start spewing facts about my wealth and the wealth of our guild to counter. But I'm not going to. Because frankly, I don't care what you own or where it's at. I really don't. All I care about is tracking KDC down, and eliminating them. And if you ask me, we are doing a pretty good job. 3 of your members have left KDC.

Again, I'm not really sure what point you were trying to make. But I'm sure I'll hear from you again, and you'll be able to clear this up.

Taran

Rumble Fish:

You guys are lame and ur website is a bunch of lies. Why not update it either? If i wasn't red a month ago i would have helped Berz kill you in town. And you would have been gone. But why don't you mention the you gank and have healers in our guild wars. And I would like our guilds to meet by ourselves without any outside healers or warriors, and engage in a formal guild war. It would be best if there are an even number of fighters and no distractions. I hope we can calmly make plans for an organized war sometime soon. And don't write websites filled with fabrications and lies :)

My Response: I have to say that KDC has an uncanny ability to ignore reality. Or, you have double standards. You bring up blue healing and uneven fights as if they were bad things. Yet, I have never been in a fight with KDC where they didn't use blue healers. Also, not all fights were such that TKV out numbered KDC. There were many fights in the beginning where TKV was out numbered with no blue healers. But, I'm sure those times have long been forgotten. That's why we document our fights. We have pictures of out numbered TKV members fighting, and winning. But I'm sure you have a logical explination for those. Oh ya, it's because we 'lie'. KDC has been a fun guild to fight, although very hard to find at times. With 3 of the main KDC members now resigned, I feel that the war with KDC is drawing to a close. What's the point in warring a guild that does nothing but hide from it's enemy? As far as an 'organized war'. That, to me, is an oxymoron in it's purest form. War is not organized. Individual sides have different levels of organization. But war itself is chaotic and very disorganized. You know where we are. If you want to fight, be there.

You can deny reality all you want. But reality is the truth.

Taran

Berzerker:

well. actually. disreguard that last letter. i was just talking to much. actually. i say we set up some set battles. tell us your house location. what is the main city your guild occupies? i am bringing my guild to delucia. i might even declare war on you with my personal guild. but first we have to organize the facts.. the people of delucia are on our side so dont call us greif players. we dont PK people. we give them a choice whether or not to attack us. kills dont really matter in war either. its whoever causes the most tactical damage to the other. from talking you said you were currently serving i believe. well real war is also bassed on tactical damage so lets get serious and end this childs play. your site is a masscarade of your victories. do realize in 1 on 1 combat we are supperior. i do agree that you cuase us some problems but you never really damaged us. i appoligize for the length of this letter but there is much to say. do you have ICQ or AIM? perhaps that would be a better port of communication. i ask you to respect the fact that we are a serious organization and not the mass unorganized children your site claims us to be. if you wish to set up rules of war then i agree it would be helpful. but as you said "war is hell". i wish i could remember the general who quoted that, perhaps it was grant or lee. but if this is to be all out war. then we will start playing it as it was. good luck in your travels and consider what i say with all seriousness.

-=(Lord Berzerker)=-

My Response: I never actually responded to this one via email. It struck me as odd that he would be asking for such tactical information. He speaks of real battles and how the success of a battle is measured in tactical damage, etc. Yet, asks for such privileged information as to where we hang out and where we live? What could I have said. . . .

None the less, I do have comments. War is measured by many factors. Tactical damage? What is tactical damage? Damage that was cause using tactics? Not really sure what is meant by this. All I know is. . . 4 of KDC's members have resigned from the guild (one has since re-joined). To me, that is damage. We are ripping KDC apart by causing it's members to leave. KDC does not have the presence it use to have in Delucia. And yes, we have scored more kills than KDC has. To me, all that adds up to TKV winning this war. At this point, there is only one KDC member that shows his face in Delucia.

As far as 'rules of war'. In my opinion, the only people that ask for 'rules of war' are people that are losing and need things to be made easier for them. Things can be very easy for you. Undeclare or resign. Until then, expect us to continue to attack.

- Taran

P.S. It was General William Tecumseh Sherman that was given credit for making the saying famous.

The rest of the emails (four of them) were from Berzerker still asking us to give him information on where we live, etc. And I continued to tell him no, urging him to try a little harder.
