TGI Fridays closes a bunch more restaurants and bankruptcy is being discussed.

I remember when our local one had 3 hour waits on weekends. It's now gone according to the website's location map.

While it wasn't in the best location as the nearby mall went under and they were a good distance from housing developments, heavily trafficked areas, etc., the last time I ate there, it sucked. The food quality had taken a huge drop from previous visits and the server wasn't good. If I remember, it was also crazy high priced.

I can't remember the last time I went to one, but I liked them in the 90s.

I loved the Jack Daniels sesame chicken strips. Really good flavor.

Not really about the economy, but...

I find it a little weird I can order foreign money from my bank to be sent to my house, but not American money.

Look at this guy just walking around ordering currency through the mail.
