I really don't think he's treated any more unfairly than any other Republican President (or most Presidential candidates). Of course the press is harder on him they they were on Obama. Anyone that was running on the Republican side in the primary that didn't expect that shouldn't have been running. Reagan famously told Nancy after being shot, "I forgot to duck". So far it doesn't seem like it's ever occurred to Trump that he even needs to duck.
