The goal for the Browns should be to suck 1 more year, and grab a QB to go with the rest of this talent.

I don't understand this. Seems like when you draft a rookie TE (a position that normally takes a while to develop properly) you'd keep on a vet who managed to develop himself from nothing to a productive TE?

Browning it up? Know something we don't?

Maybe he can join the Skins, and we can have 3 TE sets.

Steelers need a TE and I wouldn't mind signing him.

The Vikes need another TE for when the injury fairy points her wand at Kyle Rudolph.

Why can't a guy have two teams? I was born in DC, grew up in NC without a team, and lived in Charlotte a while.

They are just super close to each other and play in the same conference. I understand the circumstances, but i'd give you less flack if it was like Oakland and Carolina.

I thought about Barnidge again today. Why would you cut the best guy on your offense last year just because you drafted a TE? Was he making too much money? Nope. Are you just loaded at TE? Nope.

There's just no logic to it.

For as good a draft as the Browns are having, shit like this make you remember they're still the Browns.

Browns draft Caleb Brantley to start the Sixth round of the draft today and are already openly discussing releasing him.

I'm ok with the Steelers' draft. Most of Steeler nation isn't, but I'm fine with it.

I like Watt and JuJu. I think Allen could be a sleeper. Conner is more of a story, and thus, could be "something". I don't get drafting a long snapper. I guess all the good TEs and ILBs were gone?

Chad Kelly is Mr. Irrelevant. Most relevant Mr. Irrelevant ever?

Panthers draft was very exciting, grades be damned. Filled holes major holes with our first 4 picks, finally got Cam some speedy weapons, and a gigantic OT for the future, or possibly for the present. Our selections have grown on me, big time.

It's hard not be by hyped about the upcoming season.

Jerod Evans is mad.

Let's see if we dig this back up in 5 years.

Bridgewater's prospects of a continued career are looking less and less good.
The option on Bridgewater's option would have been worth more than $12 million, a bargain rate for a starting quarterback, but the Vikings couldn't guarantee it due to the quarterback's injury.

The injury places Bridgewater's NFL future in limbo.

This offseason, Mike Zimmer admitted he wasn't sure if Bridgewater would be able to play again. While the coach hopes the quarterback can remain a Viking, it's anyone's best guess when or if Bridgewater will ever return to the promise he showed his first two seasons.
So we've had, what ... 2.5 QBs since the new century? Culpepper, a quick season of Brad Johnson, and the final gasps of Brett Favre.

Ladies and gentlemen, the next "deep threat" WR whose career the Vikings are going to run into the ground...
Michael Floyd, a five-year veteran last seen earning a championship ring for sitting out Super Bowl 51, is leaving the Patriots. The embattled wide receiver will attempt to rehabilitate his NFL career after signing with the Minnesota Vikings, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. The one-year deal is worth $1.5 million, though Floyd can earn up to $6 million with incentives.
By the time he's down the field, Bradford's already sacked. Twice.

Pats and Blount.
New England offered Blount a one-year, $1.1 million contract Tuesday, but the deal appears more like a ploy to recoup a compensatory draft picks should a rival franchise show interest down the road. If another team offers the bruising back a deal, the Patriots will have the option to either match those new terms or receive a compensatory pick in return.

There will be gambling at NFL games in Las Vegas.

The NFL is shocked.
