Gunn is right. That exec is a moron. Marvel adds a lot of humor into their movies. Their entire franchise is about fun.

WB and DC, on the other hand, have publicly stated their rule is no humor.

That exec should lose his job. Not because this is some huge scandal, but because he clearly doesn't know the business.

i'll bet that moron doesn't even know Deadpool is a Marvel character.

To be fair, Wolverine should have always been an R rated character. He has claws that he uses to KILL people. You can't sanitize that and be true to the character.

Can't speak for DC live-action films, but the animated Justice League: War was pretty funny. Almost back up on the level of the animated series.

Yeah, their animated division is different from their live action folks.

Somewhere buried in the Batman vs Superman thread of some other DC thread is a link to an article where they discuss the actual rule. It's a real thing for their action movies.
