Coming to do some standup in January. Had to get a ticket. Purchase may have convinced me to cancel the Visa card. Their security experts are taking advice from Norton. So many fucking verification steps and my particular bank isn't signed up for "Verified by Visa." Looks like I can't use a Visa card without that bullshit. How secure. So secure I can't even fucking buy anything with it. Amex is less insane, thank jeebus. Click, buy, fucking done.

1. I usually have to jump through hoops when I spend a lot on newegg. Typically someone calls and said, "Is this really you?" Have never had to do that anywhere else

2. Today I shopped at Walmart and you no longer have to sign anything when you spend at least $130 on your credit card. Cashier said, "New rule."

The Costco Amex has a $200 limit before they give a fuck who signs anything.
