Continuing from the first movie, a plane has left LA with a passenger aboard that lived in the apartments.
If you have no idea what I'm talking about, see Quarantine. Or don't. It wasn't awesome.
Anyway, this film happens while the first film is occurring, which makes it sort of bullshit considering what happens once the quarantine starts.
They do drop the "reality" aspect of the handheld cameras, which is good, but also bad since it kills part of what made Quarantine slightly watchable.
The thing they do keep, however, is the moronic characters. They have to go out of their way to ensure they're in danger as much as possible.
I can't get past how stupid the authorities are either. It just isn't grounded in reality. Not even a little bit.
A 5th grader would be able to walk into the situation in the film, and properly organize things to avoid additional infection and bloodshed. Yet, the adults in the situation, and the authorities that show up can't?
It'd be better if the first sign of infection made you a fucking moron.
Worse than the first film.
