Apparently there was something of a controversy about NBC's coverage last night. Granted, everyone has been bitching about their coverage non-stop, but click that link, then watch the video.

However, it's it really the folks who find offense that are the ones with the problem? Seriously. Aren't they looking for racism and finding it even when it's not really there?

Seriously? From the first time I saw him, I thought he was a classless arrogant fucker. He would be on a world record setting pace only to slow down and look over his shoulder and taunt his competition who was quite a bit behind him. EXTREMELY full of himself during interviews and just a fucking dick. He's one athlete that I was HOPING would suffer some career ending injury. No room for him in sports, in my opinion. FUCK Bolt. Fuck him in his goat ass.

The Olympics? You mean that glorified military parade with more troops than the Korean DMZ and a more massive wall than the one in Berlin a couple decades back? Yeah, that place just screams global trust, cooperation, and friendship.

The sheer amount of bullshit the IOC carries along with it is simply amazing. It's one of the most blatantly corrupt organizations in the world and they consistently award hosting rights to cities that outright bribe their members.
Aside from all that, the British seem intent on showing the world how over-the-top paranoid and reactionary they are. If you need AA rockets installed on residential apartments, if you absolutely need the Royal Marines floating up and down the Thames on your navy's flagship, then maybe you shouldn't be up for hosting the Olympics, let alone having them at all. The U.K. has more troops working security for the Olympics than they posted to Afghanistan.
