So ... maybe everyone is a cylon? Like the whole race? It seems to be moving that direction.

I think they realized they had to do something with all the "this has all happened, before,a nd will happen again" stuff from Season 1. I think it will be discovered that Cylons lived on Earth, and humans nuked them for some reason... just the opposite of what happened in the original miniseries.

Also, Dee was, in my opinion, the cutest girl in the show, so that sucks.

Also, maybe Earth is "Resurrection Hub" for humans, so it remade Starbuck and sent her home... maybe we'll see Dee again?

Also, this is smelling a lot like time travel, which sucks.

I'm okay with time travel as long as it's well done. I don't think that's what's going on here, but if it is I have faith that they'll do it well. They've done well so far.

Same Pythia prophecy said Starbuck would have been dead but still needed in the fleet, and had a clone waiting where they found her, at the end of season 4.0? That wouldn't necessarily be time travel, then.

Still, time travel putting her corpse 2k years in that planet's past... but then again, I don't think there would even be bones left the way her corpse was exposed to the elements. Plant life suggests there would still be bacteria and fungus and shit.

I didn't get the impression that her wreck was 2000 years old, but just a few months. Nobody saw it but her and the skin job, and no tests were done on it.

Point, but didn't she describe...............

Well, I guess we still saw "white fluffy clouds" before they landed.

Hmmm.

The Disquiet than Follows My Soul

Fucking Gaeta. Bitter and broken.

Fucking Zarek. He has been trying to divide the fleet since we first met him.

And Starbuck is a much bigger cunt than she used to be, but then I honestly never liked her much.

Well, that was mighty interesting. The answers are coming fast now.

I find it fitting that Cavil is the ultimate villain behind everything.

One nifty little thing that slipped by while Sam was babbling: he said that back on Caprica they had a clue about who they were from seeing "people that weren't there". Sounds a lot like what Balthazar was going through with the Six in his head. He's bound to be a cylon of some sort. Perhaps a partly redesigned and resurrected Seven?

Still leaves the question of what in the world is Starbuck?

WAs "Daniel" STarbuck's father?

There's still some question about that, and why her Mom hated her and always said she had a destiny. SB's mom raped by cylons in the war?

Well after tonight's episode I can now see what they've been saving up the special effects budget for.

One episode left? We'll get all the answers? With as many questions as they've left hanging how is that even possible?

2 hour episode, though.

I have a prediction:

Galactica and the Colony have a massive battle near that "naked singularity." Shit gets weird, and time travel happens... and it is some product of that battle that nukes the Earth we saw in Galen's and Tigh's flashback. Also, THIS is where Starbuck goes back in time and crashes and burns on Earth.... the body she found and burned.

It has all happened before, it'll all happen again... Thus, one cycle ends, and a new cycle begins. And Adama was the trigger, in deciding to attack the Colony near the black hole. This will give a whole new meaning to the episode with Bulldog when Adama laments, "I started the war..." and a new tone to when Adama stands on the planet for the first time... the geiger counter is registering the radiation from Galactica's own nuke strikes (remember those planet busters from the temple/supernova episode?), and grumbles, "Earth," not knowing that he himself was the cause of its destruction. Or, somehow Kara Thrace will be the harbinger of destruction... she'll trigger the dimensional door, or whatever.

The only answer left, then, is who/what is Starbuck, and did she or did she not die on that gas planet when Lee saw her asplode.

The only thing left to add to that for ultimate circularity is the remains of the fleet being flung back in time and making the original settlements on the twelve colonies. They're their own great-great-great-(ad infinitum)-grandparents.

I'm planning my Friday around the 2-hour finale. Pushing my crew hard to make sure we're done with our project in time to get back to the hotel, showered, and the pizza ordered and delivered in time for it to start.

Don't tell my crew that that is why we are having 11 hour days this week.

Complete speculation:

The last 5 minutes of the show: Armistice Station. A model 6 sits alone at the table, flanked by 2 Centurions of a model we've never seen before. No human has shown up to the table for over 50 years, since the end of the Cylon/Human War. Suddenly, the door opens...

Welp, none of my speculations came true!

All in all, I liked the episode. First hour was just full of so many awesome moments...

Not sure I liked Lee's "let's live like the mud people" decision.

Liked Baltar's coming to terms with his upbringing... you could see him ralize he loved his father with a single sob.
