Vince Vaughn, Jason Bateman, Faizon Love, and Jon Favreau take their wives on a vacation to Eden. The catch is that they have to spend time in couples therapy.

First of all, at least one of you has complained before that wives in movies and TV shows are unrealistically hot for the slobs playing their opposite. The trend continues here.

The story is pretty much by the numbers with a few scenes that go on too long or are completely forced rather than occurring within the natural flow of the story. For example, there's a shining moment for Vince Vaughn's character later in the film that is just plain stupid.

Is this a funny film? At times there are funny things, yes. However, the point of the film is to get couples to watch it, yet I could see more couples fighting over it rather than enjoying it together. It's couples therapy, thus they talk about all the negative stuff in a relationship. Something is bound to hit home for the viewers.

This just seems like something to catch on TBS late on a Saturday night, rather than sitting with your significant other for date night.

5 out of 10.

II watched it tonight with my wife, I liked it. I'd give it a 7/10.

But yes, that hot wife, slob husband thing is way true here. And how do you get all those hotties with no boobies? sigh.
