Could've sworn we had a thread about this, but out in theatres now. Same writer-director. Same two Irish dudes plus Billy Connolly, minus Willem Dafoe.

Classic violence w\ some entertaining comedic relief. & Willem Dafoe is creepy as a self-hating homosexual FBI agent.
"Maybe it was one guy with six guns."
"You're an idiot."

I liked the first one a lot for many reasons, but I can't see it being anywhere near as good without Dafoe. He really brought it all together perfectly.

My thought initially as well. But I'll've to give it at least a shot.

Finally saw this yesterday. It's ... alright. Lots of the same cast members, even Greenly & fuck-ass. Then there's Judd Nelson as an Italian don, which he thoroughly enjoys. Every line he delivers is over the top & extremely loud. What made the last film was seeing things from the perspective of both the outlaws (Sean Patrick Flannery & Norman Reedus) & the law (Willem Dafoe). The slow-mo stylistic gunfights, sometimes seen in reverse chronological order w\ narration by the law, were used overmuch here.
All this being said, there's plenty of violence, swearing, & drinking. & Rocco (the Italian dude from the first film) has a kick-ass monologue towards the end of the movie.
If you saw the first one & liked it, you'll want to check this one. Spoilers thread to be started soon.

Saw the first movie on BD for $10 at Walmart, last night.
Almost grabbed it, but then I didn't.
