I managed to miss the first few minutes of the film, but did successfully piece together what happened.
They just substituted one stereotype sidekick for another. & at least Rocco had some depth to him. Romeo approaches utter stupidity in more than a couple scenes.
Willem Dafoe makes an appearance at the end. I didn't actually see that coming since his name didn't appear in the credits.
Rocco's speech in the dream sequence is fucking brilliant.

The shootouts? In the first one, the boys got dinged up prior to the final firefight. In this one, they're all fucking invincible up to that point, as is Romeo somehow.
