As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

Sean Bean stars as a soldier home (set in London) from Iraq who feels lost and finds a new path for his life...fighting crime.

This isn't Batman. Hell, this isn't even Death Wish.

Sean recruits other peeps who have had bad things happen to them, but there's the issue of them all being pussies. In fact, the British army must be full of pussies because Sean doesn't actually hurt anyone outside of a little weasel on his own team. (Yes, I'm spoiling it, and you should thank me.) Before any British folks get mad, understand that I have nothing but respect for the British and their military. It irritated me to no end to see a soldier represented as someone who can't throw a good punch, can't fight, can't defend himself, and can't shoot straight.

This film is so impossible to follow due to the piss poor writing and beyond shitty direction that I have to assume the people behind this spent a lot of time on their knees to get it distributed.

The camera work is about as professional as can be considering they must not have used tripods, but substituted them for epileptics. If you love your film to constantly shake and be out of focus, this film is for you.

My favorite scene was when the "good guys" have a big baddie ready to be killed, but they can't do it because it "makes them murderers". It was ok to take a full swing at the back of someone's head with a baseball bat and beat other people with pipes because such things could NEVER lead to death, right?!?! By the way, the big baddie was responsible for other deaths, including one of the good guy's pregnant wife and their child.

So instead of killing him, they simply let him go. 15 minutes later they seriously injure and leave for dead one of their own members who was questioning their choices.

Seriously, a law should be passed to keep the writer, Nick Love, from ever writing anything ever again. And hey, Nick directed the film too, so he's a double hack.

A steaming pile of shit that I'd feel bad making someone I'm torturing watch...

0 out of 10.

Actually, I take it back. I'm going to give it a 1 out of 10 because there was one performance worthy of mention. Danny Dyer was very, very good. In fact, a few of the actors in the good guy group shined, with the exception of their leader, Sean Bean, who phoned it in.

We had a Brit SAS guy attached to our unit for a time, in the Marines. We Marines were in good shape, but this guy could PT circles around us. He was definitely a hard mofo.

I can't speak to his marksmanship, though, but I was probably better than him.

Saw this a couple years ago in Scotland. I remember being underwhelmed.
