Uwe turned this video game into a comedy in the veins of Airplane.

In short, it's ridiculously stupid, but there are some lines and scenes that actually made me laugh.

If I'm being 100% honest, I think Uwe is actually getting better at making movies. Of course, he couldn't get worse.

The story here follows a loser named "Dude" (the character's name in the game) as he goes through a particularly bad day. At no point does he ever do the things you see in the games, that's all left to "bad guys", but he does rack up a body count.

There are a few moments that are odd or possibly in poor taste. As examples:
-The film opens with a scene from September 9, 2001. It's the highjackers in the planes flying towards the towers. Too soon? Not for me to judge. I do know that the actual dialogue in this scene is funny. Really.
-Uwe Boll is in the movie playing himself. That alone was pretty odd, but fits here.
-The designer of the game Postal was in the film and his scene didn't feel right. It felt like a statement Uwe was making about his critics, but it came off poorly.

I'll give Uwe a lot of credit for this film though because he didn't back off from anything. He ripped Muslims throughout, but at the same time was showing them as normal people too. Maybe that offset anger? I don't know. He also showed the actual Nazi symbol and ripped German history which is a pretty big deal to them.

Lots of guest stars in this one too and some are a bit surprising. One of the funniest casting choices is Dave Foley as a womanizing cult leader. (He's gay (Not that there's anything wrong with that) in real life.)

If you liked the Scary Movie franchise or the Superhero movie you honestly might like this one.

Not the worst thing I've ever seen.

5 out of 10.

Of course it is for you to judge. You lived through it, and had feelings about it.

Personally, I think it is too soon. Let the kids of people who died at least get through junior high before you start ripping on their dead parents.

I didn't think it was too soon until they showed passengers. The actual dialogue between the terrorists was good, but the scene couldn't end based on their dialogue. Thus, the passengers had to be shown.

The scene immediately following that showed the outside shot of the plane was definitely in bad taste. Hint: It involved a window washer...

I'm for putting all sorts of info out in the real world, if nothing else as a stress test for the human species.

Great, but I find dancing on fresh graves to be disrespectful and in bad taste.

Dancing? More like pissing, in this case.

I'm not sure seven years qualifies as fresh.

Like I said, let the kids of the dead people get out of junior high before ripping on their dead parents.
